Chester, why are you stating a range of value for Scancell when you don’t actually know?

You have no idea what the company is worth to any prospective buyer. Nobody has!

You don’t even know if Scancell would resist a takeover, they may want to develop themselves as a stand alone pharma company! Although I imagine our major investors would have a say in that.

The tribunal most of you think will find for AST was constituted two and a half years ago and is far from reaching an outcome.

The Slovenian government have appointed a top lawyer, Brigitte Stern, who I believe will make a case against AST for their refusal to complete a revised EA when requested. AST will argue that they didn’t have to but I believe, though I don’t recall, that their reasoning for not doing that is flawed.

This case will not be resolved for years as appeals will be lodged adding extra years to the process and at the end of the day Slovenia will not pay up simply because not being in the EU, they will not feel compelled to.

Just sold some dividend earning stock in my S&S ISA and bought another 200k shares in Scancell. Could not resist at under 10p.

Previous posts have clearly identified the potential development of Scancell products add the potential income from Genmab at some point and the ongoing discussions with potential partners all pointing to a level of success at some point.

There are potential downsides I am sure but I’m going with my instinct and blind faith. Not something I would recommend for the faint hearted but as I have often said, I am a gambler!…😱😜😂😂

Yoglet, it’s tedious, they are floundering in the dark hoping that their limited knowledge of how Market Makers work will let them guess correctly.

This is a smaller than a minnow share, millions traded won’t shift the SP much. It’s news that moves the SP as we saw this week.

I believe the news went some way to derisk this share but there is still a way to go before the billions of shares issued here become of significant worth. It’s a hold for me.

Paul, Those two 100k buys were before mine and my trade price was 8p.

I’m pretty sure that when Halifax executes trades for individuals, it doesn’t show on the LSE board…I don’t know why! 🤔

Just sold some oil shares in my S&S ISA and bought another 100k SCLP. Couldn’t resist the price!… it won’t show on the “Trades” page as it was executed in my Halifax S&S ISA.

It does feel, as C11 says, like regurgitation. I keep expecting a “Eureka” moment and to read about 100% successes. Maybe my expectations are too high, more fanciful than realistic but forever hopeful!

Crusty, I think the tick down is temporary. My math is not great but your 50k of stock is down about £200. Getting in at 9p feels like a bargain to me so hold your nerve, it’s all a gamble but I have to believe in the upside and potential of Scancell and at this point in time believe you will be grinning from ear to ear in a few weeks time!…Courage mon brave!!

Marcus, thanks for the BTG comment. it is an extremely fond memory of one of my more successful investments among quite a few failures.

I had bought a significant amount of shares at single digit cost in a company called Protherics, I have no recollection why but I did. I was pretty much a novice investor but held on to these for some years.

BTG bought Protherics in an all share deal which, on paper, made me a lot of money but I do recall that BTG’s SP dropped at the time of the acquisition so I held on to them finally selling them at £8 per share shortly before BTG themselves were sold.

Dr. Varawalla formerly with BTG, now with Scancell, is a happy coincidence for me, or a good omen…..I’ll take either. 🤪

Not a share that will rocket in the near future. It’s not a potential oil or gas discovery, it’s not an aspiring bio tech it’s not anywhere near fintech. It’s a minor comms company. Trade it and take profits where you can over the next 5 years!……just saying!… 🤷‍♂️
