Isn’t the preclinical data already out there?…if so I would not expect to much from this event. I am not saying there won’t be something new but if there was and it would affect the SP, then an RNS would have been required.

Radica, The Interims have not revealed anything new so everything already “baked in”.
In addition, the BoD believe the market is stupid, so continue to present themselves as a company focussed on Caribbean and Hispanic opportunities when they have nothing in South America and have given up on Cuba. Basic research here will deter institutional investors and the company knows that most Private investors hang on to dreams that rarely come true.
Income from the wells in Slovenia will cover salaries and expenses but without stimulation nothing will change. The BIT claim is an outside chance but will be nowhere near £500mil and at least the Interim report recognises that. My personal view on that is the claim will be contested by Slovenia for many years to come through various courts and appeals.
There are far better opportunities for PI’s than leaving your money here for years on a “wish and a prayer”
The professionals operating in the market know all of this which is why the SP ain’t going anywhere!!

Hasiba, I am back in the UK for a few weeks so find I have time in my hands.
I took a look at your posting history and was surprised to find earlier this year (April, May & June) some very bullish posts and your multi- million volume share purchases in Vast, IAG and POG…how’s that going for you?…most of the shares you have bought into are doing really badly plus POG gone into administration.
Any advice you offer on here should be ignored as you clearly are a very unsuccessful investor.
I think you have more value in supporting C7 and providing her with the attention she desperately seeks!…:-D

I think the SP being suppressed is to do with the information available in The Clinical Trials database for Covidity.
It shows that the “Study” started on Oct 1st 2021 with primary outcome (safety & tolerability), secondary outcome (immunogenicity) and “other” outcomes having equal timeframes of 6 to 26 weeks. I believe that even with slow recruitment of trial candidates (the website indicates approx 80 to date) the news flow is non existent and perhaps the market is sensing that something does not “feel right” with the rate of progress on Covidity. I stress this is a personal interpretation of what I have read and does not in anyway detract from my optimistic view on Scancell as an oncology focussed company.

C7, I am not ashamed of being relatively wealthy, or in being healthy. I have worked hard on both areas to get to where I am today. I have taken financial risks where some have paid off and some have resulted in significant losses.
If my posts upset you, ignore or delete them. I honestly care not a jot!…it is clear that your pretence at being “ nice” here rapidly evaporates when you feel you are losing control of the narrative!
P.S. I have not sold a single share in SCLP. I bought the majority in 2019 and added on two occasions since.

Max, not sure why you think my post was “unhelpful” for LTH’s here… I clearly stated that I believe SCLP will be successful against my own personal view of a timeline.
As I am getting older and recognising that I probably won’t live forever, I want to enjoy my money and realise my ambitions, living life to the full.
My purpose in posting was to share my intended strategy with anyone who is interested. Having a strategy and a timeline allows me to plan forward, I am not trying to influence, I doubt I could anyway. I post here randomly, I am not a daily reader or contributor. My posts can be ignored or deleted.

Violin, I remain a “Strong Buy” but catching up since my last visit here, I am detecting a sense of fatigue or even despondency underlying the blind optimism of the usual hopefulls!
Bookmakers generally get it right and set odds accordingly.
In this case the “ Bookie” is the market and it seems there is a lack of confidence in SCLP. Which means that a sensible investor would follow the market sentiment and take profit if it is there… currently I am in profit, quite serious profit, on a large (ish) investment in 2019…..my concern here is with the optimism, self evident on this board, which is based on an assumed potential that is not, currently, backed up with confirmation from the company.
I will stay invested here until Q4 2023 as I believe, as I previously stated in an earlier post, that if the trials results are in line with expectations we will be monetised or on a commercial footing by then.
If not, I will put sense before optimism and bail out….hopefully still on a profit.…as a precaution, I have reset my “stop loss” today to ensure I take a profit no matter what happens!!

Strong buy…stand by!!!

LL, I get it, I think…, I guess it’s what you think is the best option!… I am of the opinion “strong buy” but feel a little irrational with this share, I am not sticking to my policy of “sell on a double”which I currently am, having invested in 2019 but have had some doubts on the slow progress of SCLP.
I admire your courage although never liked your editorialising on sunsets, sunrises and dog walks……;-D
In my view, if you can get back in b4 Q2 2023 it might be advantageous still.

Bermuda, yes, I did know….I was trying to emphasise the timelines for Scancell’s progress.
I appreciate your previous and as usual informative post.
To be clear, I am a “believer” I just sometimes question my investment strategy here. I could sell half my holding here at the current SP and recover my initial investment and be on a free carry as we bought in 2019. That would be my normal play!… but for some reason I cannot bring myself to do that and don’t know if it is belief, instinct, or just plain greed!…being a gambler, I suspect the latter…so hoping my luck holds!…:-D

“The trial, which commenced in June 2010, is designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of SCIB1 in patients with late stage melanoma and also to gather data on the effects of SCIB1 on tumour growth and cellular immune response.”
This trial was expanded on June 15th this year!!…..12 years on !!!

10 years and Modi-1 has just (June 13th) had FPD in a phase 1 Clinical trial and Modi-2 still at pre clinical.
If it is such a wonder drug that melts tumours in four days, why is it taking so long to enter and complete trials. Let’s not use Covid as an excuse, although I can accept it would of had some impact.
Has there been any independent verification of Moditope’s potential or are the trials the only way of knowing. I assume that the trials are completely and totally managed by Scancell without any third party monitoring.
