Finding myself with a bit of time on my hands today so looking at stuff and found this article, (link below) after reading it, and recognising the importance of global experience and the lack of it within many UK based Bio tech companies, I have to admit that I have changed my mind on Dr Jean-Michel Cosséry as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board.
His extensive North American experience appears to potentially, put us in pole position to access US and global markets and his engagement maybe a clue to Scancell’s strategy. Perhaps Scancell don’t want to be acquired but want to develop into a global player….just saying!!…:-D

Crumbs, I agree with you but I am guessing, given the speed of your response, that you did not read the summaries of the 20 companies in the article.
I was trying to point out that these companies, with their “alternative” platforms or approaches, are trying to achieve the same outcomes, or results, as Scancell, namely and in broad terms, a cure for cancer!… In my mind, it’s a race…Come on Scancell… get on with it!…:-D

Like some here, I am not that knowledgeable with the science.
I do get the impression, from some posters, that they believe the Scancell science is totally unique and therefore they believe that they are 100% convinced that failure, at any level, is an impossibility!…it’s just a matter of time before we cash in with huge profits!
I am not quoting verbatim from the TD report but paraphrasing, they indicated that the oncology “space” is crowded with other companies with a similar profile to SCLP, albeit maybe with different or slightly different science.
Maybe we are in a race where, to the winner, go the spoils and second place gets the leftovers…..and maybe that’s a factor influencing the valuation.
I “ebb and flow” on de-risking my investment here but for the time being, I am staying “all in” due to my well publicised greed!…:-D

The paragraph on Covidity possibly describes one reason the SP was unaffected by the RNS.
The investment case adds reality to what the SP could be in the short term and probably gives a number of reasons why a buyout in my mind is unlikely in the near term.
Organic growth as the platforms are proven and developed is more likely, with each success driving an upward curve of the SP at a steady but not dramatic pace!

Yet again C7 demonstrates that truth is a stranger to him.

I have thought for some time that there is no affirmative news on the platforms that indicates anything other than unsupported optimism. Constantly waiting data that is not there to support anything other than a decline in the SP.
I have previously stated that I am invested at a good price back in 2019 so have no immediate worries!…that said, I am not that enthused that we have “employed” an elderly, albeit experienced, individual into a critical role, at this stage of development.
It is highly likely that I will divest at a profit in the next few days / weeks at this level or even lower because I need to get back to my “normal” investment strategy that makes me money ….profit is profit!!
The next RNS will be pivotal because it can only be about progress so I will watch closely!… I will be trading a significant amount in the coming days.. watch the trades because I may move from a LTH to a day trader…but will always keep a core holding!
Volatility could be the key to making some dosh here!

Ruckrover, your claim to have sold at 0800hrs and bought back at 0830hrs with an additional 30k shares does not ring true, the spread between bid and ask at the times you state was a maximum of just over a penny. You would have needed to sell millions to buy back an extra 30 thousand on the difference between ask and buy in the 30 minute timeframe that you are claiming.
The current dip is 15% but the ask and bid differences, track each other on the way down and on the way up.
The expression that “Bulls**t baffles brains” clearly does not apply hear!

Rigga, the £30,000 is called a “remittance fee” that non doms pay annually (and legally) to avoid paying tax on worldwide earnings. Now that she has voluntarily given up her non dom status she no longer pays the remittance fee but now pays UK tax on her worldwide income including UK income.

Dear me Riggs, you ain’t well informed are you. Rishi Sunak’s wife is an Indian citizen, not British and as such, has to pay tax on all her income earned in India to the Indian government!…get the facts right or you will lose the little credibility you have!

Matt, it’s a distraction while we wait for the news that posters here are constantly banging on about!…so where is your evidence for corruption?…I get the mismanagement bit and accept that mistakes were made and recognised but why do you say they don’t work for us. If you believe they work for themselves how can you prove or demonstrate that.
I live some of the year in the UK and some of the year in Spain and recently, some months in Germany, i don’t hear much opinion about the UK when I am in Europe, I believe they have their own issues to deal with so not much laughing at us. I don’t believe Poland or Ukraine are laughing at us, quite the opposite.
We are entitled to our opinions as you say but to throw out generalisations without backing it up with evidence is nothing but a rant!
