RE: Briefing8 Dec 2021 19:28
Well my take out was as I posted Sunday , highly transmissable , hospitals globally will struggle to cope , figure quoted was 300 % increase in Africa so far and this will inevitably lead to more deaths. So all the prats posting on here no worse then a cold , no hospitalisations all look a trite silly.
That was embarrassing to watch , he as usual evaded answering questions , more a a er ums then usual and Whitty having to address the nation to ask them to separate the issue of B J's party and the task in hand. Absolute shameful shambles. The bragging , first to give a vaccine , we've secured blah amount of boosters . A dose of humble pie would have had a bigger impact. He quoted I think 560 cases , Javid said already probably 10 ,000. So a question , if we have (the UK) world leading genomics , they failed to pick it up. Had they binned that too a minimum amount just like they binned PCR testing for travel as being mandatory. Guess we will never know , quite frankly don't believe a word he says. Still all about the economy , if 2/3 days from contracting to infectious , then should be isolation not daily test. Zzzzzzzzzz
