I think Larry that perhaps Sonic meant non covid tests as for a new diagnostic company there are an arsenal of tests produced by Novacyt they could use. No reason in the future not to use Novacyt covid tests either. Early days await more info but very exciting finds thus far.

Lots of companies white label goods and use their own well known brand. Nobody in Indoa prob heard of Novacyt ( man on street ) but they'd know TATA.

Agree the 5o extra machines are not Q32's according to a couple of articles I have read.
However fantastic find with the video Neil , the portable lab looks familiar and the machines most definitely look like clones of the Q32. Very interesting , let's see if any news drops. If they are Q's then they could be manufacturing themselves under a label as don't know that IT-IS could produce the numbers potentially required. Speculative until we know some facts but at face value look remarkably similar imo.

Totally disagree P100 and I personally am pleased that no rash decisions have been made by a new CEO. I look forward to hearing in the new year what his strategy is to grow the company and have been impressed by the new hires and looking at the open positions it is clear to me he is building out a new team to accelerate Novacyts growth.

I don't know P100 , I see a lot of the scientists and data modelers getting a lot of negative press saying previous predictions didn't materialise. Well no they didn't because mitigating factors came into play like lockdowns and vaccines. So I think it is a case of wait and see. However nothing I have seen or read inspires me with confidence that this is the last variant we will see. We are a diagonostic company with a huge breadth of experience and an amazing R & D team , therefore with all the predictions regarding growth in this sector I am more then happy to hold.

Was talking to couple of medical mates last night , one front line on covid wards. She said re state of play that christmas throws a huge spanner in the works re data. She went on to explain that people will do anything to avoid being hospitalized over Christmas even if feeling very sick. They would "rather die eating Christmas pud then spend the festive period at A &E / being admitted" She elaborated further to say you won't see real death rate over festive season until New year as v difficult to register deaths between 24 /12 and early Jan. Just a small point to perhaps consider. We see a similar impact always on reporting at weekends.

Well as we all know statistics and modelling are open to interpretation. Different modelled produce diff stats. I am sure the govts pick those that support their decisions. They may well have picked the right ones , no idea.

The large after hours trades appear after hours on the bourse too , similar amounts ,so somebody has been loading up on both exchanges or bought on one and sold on another , hard to tell. If they were sells they'd have tanked the price and we've ended up more or less flat.

Really great vid , great medical advances for mankind in the last two years , shame it was the virus that accelerated them and no doubt will continue to do so. Jack take a look , now that's what I call an amazing video.
