RE: COVID to end in many years4 Jan 2022 20:26
Emotional intelligence required here, worry about what you can control. That's not what certain posters write. We are a testing company and cases have never been higher. The states a million today, France raised us on our 200k. That's the positive number not the tests conducted , that is far greater. Now whether an airline goes up or spoons rally, great for those invested. From my perspective right now there has never been such an opportunity for diagnostic companies that can offer tests. What capacity we have is a different issue as is the lack of communication. The prolonged requirement for testing will almost definitely impact the bottom line positively. Once we've limped through this variant , what next , noone knows. All I know is that the boosters decline week on week and those jabbed in October will require another soon. I just do not envisage testing dropping off a cliff in the immediate future. We have to protect ourselves from new variants and the only way to do that is PCR testing and genomic surveillance.
Frustrated at lack of info as we all are.
Pity the NHS , I follow a covid doc called seahorse on twitter and they are having an horrendous time. My house guests can't leave , they cannot get PCR tests to fly , they have tried for three days. So in a twist of fate those piling into airline stocks may find for the next month lots of empty seats. Hopefully not for those invested there.
