With regards to Parakito and Theradiag it is clear they focus in on the target part of the company that interests them. I was unaware as I'd never even thought about location of sales , that Biosynex has such an extensive range of pharmacies that they sell into. Logical when you think about it. This number has now increased with their partial purchase of Parakito.
So what have Novacyt inclusive of Microgen Bioproducts got that they are interested in.
Are the R&D teams in both Primer and Microgen working on select conversions of currently RUO products for commercial sale ?
Are they just interested in specific types of tests that could be sold in pharmacies. Are they looking at instruments to install in pharmacies or just lateral flow tests or both ? It would seem logical that they seek to further supply the outlets numbering region of 20 ,000 with non covid tests. This could easily be packaged in some form of JV. The R & D expertise sits within Novacyt , they so far mainly buy in products . In the main 20, 000 French outlets so numbers grow as you go cross border. Would Novacyt be interested in this sort of JV , high enough numbers and the margin negotiation is easy.
Just some thoughts.
Alternatively they are clueless as to what Bio want and are mid sabbatical having done no R& D for nigh on a year and their sole reason for existence is to rip the beep out of all as some suggest. Perhaps D.A and the board will announce great new Golf handicaps come end of April and as P100 suggests deliver nothing come end of year.

Oops . I expect that the global Omicron B.A1 rapid spread early first quarter should have a positive impact on figures. There was a global shortage of tests. If Novacyt have not availed of this opportunity then we need to fully understand why. They told us on numerous occasions that none of their assays were adversely impacted by Omicron. Hoping to hear about some more CTDA approvals in the next few weeks.
D.A 's purchase appears to have had the opposite impact to what most anticipated.
Most bizarre as I wouldn't put 100k of personal money into something expecting it to dwindle , I would only invest it if I expected substantial growth. Happy days :(

Fyi , checked with Mandy and she has confirmed that Promate 1G on the temporary approval list ( still ! Pull your fingers out CTDA) is extended now until end of May. Not new info but clarification for those who perhaps were not aware.

Well I'm not worried at all by Biosynex holding just over a 5 % stake. The more interest in the company there is then great bring it on.
A few joint ventures with an aggressive competitor working in tandem is right up my street. Bloody brilliant , hope they buy more.

Lovely weekend , weather great here for a change. Spoilt my mother today , lucky to still have her after the events of the last two years and fortunately have dodged covid thus far. Hope next week is a good one for us all !
Re this closed period , all a bit farcical really , as at any given time they have a definite advantage over us. If we knew what the figures were for the first quarter we would position ourselves accordingly. So we wait ... :)
