Can anyone confirm that once a WhatsApp message has been sent and read by the recipient that the message in question still exists on the recipient 's phone even if the sender subsequently deletes that message .Thx

Prefer the Lancet or BMJ for peer reviewed articles on trials, the Daily Mail is headline grabbing drivel and always biased.

I would guess re the vitamin D that they perhaps were trying to establish if a vitamin D supplement helped level off the incidences of covid infection when looking at white versus ethnic minority cases. It is an established fact that ethnic minority population in the UK often have insufficient levels of vitamin D. I don't know if that is diet related or not. There was another vitamin D trial last year in conjunction with diabetes and dialysis patients to try and establish if vitamin d helped, as again the incidence in some minority groups is much higher then in the white population. Hope that's phrased in such a way as to not cause any offence as none intended. Any attempt at levelling up is great imo and if a supplement could have helped then worth investigating.

Spent today arranging for siblings to take elderly relatives for their boosters , blissfully unaware of the concept of vaccine wane. Also stressing the importance of fast testing at onset of any symptoms , so if required they can avail of the short window for any antiviral treatments. The govt really could not have stopped testing at a worse stage.
Note that the airlines are in utter chaos again and cancelling hundreds of flights. Quite what they expected to happen with staff operating in a confined space with unmasked potentially contagious passengers is beyond me. Yes this extremely high prevalence of cases will start to decline again , but surely in the interim sense should have prevailed. Learn from our mistakes ? Apparently not. I shan't be availing of a flight anytime soon , suffer enough brain fog already at times , don't fancy some of the side effects of long covid one little bit.
