I would envisage the communication will be between legal representatives of those involved. In my experience cutting out the legal middleman is cost effective. Straight to whom ever you select to represent you on the day , if it ever reaches that stage. Straight to a good barrister specialising in contract law. Cuts out months of paper shuffling by lawyers and cuts to the chase .
I have found it a much cheaper approach in my dealings with the legal profession.

To clarify I asked about the status of home use LFT and proffesional use LFT. The professional use LFT is awaiting CTDA approval. This does not prohibit it being used outside of the UK and Dam health have branches outside of the UK. The home use LFT still requires regulatory approval before it can proceed to CTDA approval. More govt games.

I hadn't seen it Mr M , but right now we don't have a home lat flow test and our proffesional test is waiting CTDA approval as confirmed to me by Mandy as I asked. BUT NOT SHOWING ON THE LIST , which is a lack of transparency imo . Therefore I believe we can not use in the UK at the moment. Anyone please contact Mandy for conf of this incase I have misunderstood something, but I don't think I have.

I think I'm being totally logical in my approach. We have the added issue if we declare to the market we are gunning for 150 mm plus 41mm , partial payment of triggering phase 2 , at a minimum costs of supply / stockpiling and elements of lost opp then the disputed amt leaps to a figure in excess of 250mm in dispute. That is the figure that would be touted , easier to allow offset assumption as a worse case scenario. The fact they refuse to state this scenario just endorses my belief they believe it triggered phase 2. So the wait continues.

DRB , I agree with the figures you have stated , the figures we all collectively thrashed out after going backwards and forwards. I am still left perplexed. The govt have positioned themselves. What though are we claiming , Novacyt have never come out and said the 41 million pounds worth of Promate will offset the 134 million claim. Novacyt obviously view it as separate order and therefore believe it triggered the next stage of the contract. I think Novacyt are disputing more then just the non receipt of the remainder of the 150mm not yet paid plus the 41mm. If this was not the case why not say this morning in the Rns that the disputed amt will be reduced by a 41mm contract delivered but not yet paid for. Surely if that was the case they would clearly articulate that. They want at a minimum the 150mm and the 41mm but I now strongly suspect they are chasing substantially more. Thoughts ?

Thank Larry , Exmex B2H. One of the academic teams we have collaborated with and indeed won several awards last few years is Edinburgh University. They currently have a Sepsis trial ( treatment not test ) ongoing. Hopefully Novacyt can avail of samples if required and they are working on a sepsis test.

If Biosynex were to do such a thing it would be a clear indication that they are interested in a buy out not a joint venture. If a jv is on the cards and the two companies are in active communication then it does nothing to enhance the relationship messing about with the share price. As usual time will tell. The fact Bio have bought is a positive. Open acknowledgement in the market that they either believe share price will rise or Novacyt has something they need / want.

The expertise with developing tests lies with Novacyt , the long term academic relationships forged over years lies with Novacyt , that's why they were in the Blizzard , Queen Mary's, Edinburgh Uni , multiple institutions throughout Europe / Globally , it is why they have been able to be first responders with many diseases. Bio buys in expertise / products and doesn't have a global presence or the relationships
Novacyt has with academia. There within lies an issue , so many tests RUO , which I hope to hear Novacyt R&D have been addressing. We need to be able to give Gosafe , Tac , Biograd , Katalyst etc tests to use on the Q's , they have had enough time to have this up and running.
This is a serious question , what is it we lack that we need Biosynex for ? What have they got we need ?

Was looking at a job spec for Novacyt a few days back , it was for a London A/C mgr , can't recall which area , but it mentioned the NHS several times , experience of selling into NHS pathology labs , so obviously as we knew selling direct to different hospitals / trusts and therefore we won't see big contracts managed centrally as during the height of the covid pandemic.

Yep devil in the detail , enough time been afforded to D.A , we need to know strategy , how they intend to deliver it and when. With enough detail that the shareholders understand what it is they are invested in and can benchmark progress against targets. Re opinion of D.A BYP , really haven't got one yet , but most definitely will have by Thursday afternoon .
