Rest assured anyone discussing major partnerships/ joint ventures will as a prerequisite require that basic inf. We in the interim are not privy to it just imo

I agree Cswag it would have been nice for us to know , stating the obvious the company know and view M& A accordingly. We have worked the figures so many times on here and therefore we know they will keep in reserve sufficient funds to cover the worst case scenario and then operating costs for a sustained period. That still leaves them considerable funds to accelerate growth to use Allmond's phrase.

Who are they in active talks with ? Cash will be used for MA and partnerships. Are they in talks with Amazon , Tata or Biosynex about a joint venture. He assured us we would be the first to know if "new news"

Not many aim companies are in talks with major corporates and have the cash in hand to action potentially large joint ventures.

Am pleased that the 100 million is organic growth and excludes potential revenues from any M & A activity , which they state they are actively pursuing.

Feel much more confident in Allmond as CEO today and will ignore noise from those not invested. So now as far as I am concerned I have reasons to be optimistic.
Without doubt they intend to deploy some of that cash and obviously see no risk in doing so , they are confident it is their cash to spend as they so desire. What proportion they elect to spend and what they hold in reserve will be interesting . As usual do your own research and act accordingly.

Saint the much heralded UKHSA is being dismantled , insufficient budget allocated to conduct asymptomatic testing in hospitals or care homes. Budget will be utilised to test in winter when it is believed cases will be higher.

What happens to the SP next is 100 % dependent on the delivery and content of the presentation tomoz. Holders starved of news. Let us all hope no schoolboy errors . I do not want to hear about a list of exciting developments in the pipeline and then be told delivery November. Aim thrives on anticipation and it is a thin line between acquiring the skill to maintain interest and feeding the shareholders B/S. If anyone knows of the existence of a 40.8 million contract that Novacyt had please tell me , I missed it . Therefore with no contract existing it's a bit hard to cancel.
The company actually state in RNS dated 9th April 2021 that they supplied Promate in accordance with DHSC demand.
They then inform us on May 21st via RNS the dispute may now have a material impact on first quarter 2021 referring to non pyt for the Promate sold in q1.
The DHSC cannot order from a supplier adhoc and then refuse to pay. They have held back payment because of the dispute regarding the Sept 2020 contract. This is not and never was another contract that has been cancelled.

Right now the DHSC have issued a claim , that claim may not yet contain any details save the amt and whatever is mandatory. It would be foolish for Novacyt to show their hand first. However now the ball is rolling it will not be long before they do so. Gazman set out the timetable yesterday.

My more immediate concern is will they have to make a provision in the accounts for 134mm , we all know this is not actually the figure as they have not paid us for over 40mm supply of Promate and then tax / VAT adjustments.
For example yesterday the 'Fool ' discussed in an article a cancelled 40.8 contract , there will be plenty of press surrounding this and not the sort that will benefit us.

Not a Corp solicitor but if memory serves me correctly, 14 days to acknowledge service of claim , which may or may not contain details. Claimant then has 28 days to respond with full details. Then Novacyt has 28 days to respond if they intend to defend the claim. Then each side shows what they've got so to speak and the 'fun starts' happy to be corrected , but was something akin to the above I was involved in at a large corporate I worked for. A sued B for breach of contract and late delivery of v expensive mainframes and the FX rate had changed so dramatically the pyt they wanted was costing the bank I worked for millions more. TBH at the time didn't rock my boat , more interested in partying. I think we were served directly via registered mail , irrelevant I know but recall my boss at the time shocked opening the letter.
