BYP / anyone re contract. Something I do not understand.
I had a quick look at my business insurance last night and like my car insurance have full cover for any legal costs arising from any dispute up to a max of blah. I would assume Novacyt must have the same ???

DRB , threw myself a wobble with the 6.9 , still don't understand but agree M & A possible of at least £40 million so let's see what they do , they know they need to consider it to add to organic growth. So I'm of the same opinion as you regarding conservative figures.

BH2 we already have Ebola and Zika tests , I don't know what needs to be done to upgrade for use with Lab in a box or indeed if diff strains each year but I would say we are in with a good fighting chance of winning some sizeable chunks of business there. Helps we already
have a working relationship with them. Pleased to see Jeremy Farrar involved, he knows exactly what Novacyt are capable of , he has had an amazing career , as I said at the time , no suprise he resigned from SAGE and distanced himself from the govt.

I guess what I am saying is we know in total we have seen 191mm being paid.
I always calculated 127mm was 2nd contract and contract 1 was approx 64mm. Maybe not.

Can we take a step back , the first contract was worth 66 mm ?

I don't regret investing , right decision , I regret not selling at 12. But I take full responsibility for that , I could have , should have , would have, if I'd known the DHSC were going to renage on the contract. The care home debacle just resurfaced because Hankok was trying to absolve himself of any blame by saying he wasn't aware asymptomatic folks can transmit. Simply not true . I have held roles whereby I have been put under intense pressure to follow path A , but as I was the one who would be held responsible and it was ultimately my call , I took the decision I felt was right. No lives in the balance but vast sums of money. He should own it , but he is a weasel.

Yes Exmex I've bracketed that as may not be 2nd contract. So are you saying DRB the Oct pyt may partially relate to first contract and we include the 50mm as part of the 135 paid against the 150 contract. In other words we have all been wrong believing 123 had been paid ? When did you discover this ?
I'm going to have to go back and look at this. Nobody else has suggested this .

Pet hate of mine , should be able to reconcile numbers relatively easily. Numbers bottom line are what influence me when making decisions.

I have thus far based my workings on 23mm owing , 41mm owing.

If you read the Sept 16th 2021 RNS and read what is said about the 6.9 m they say it is manufacturing costs.
If you read the RNS dated 28th of April the 6.9 million is now stock supplied to the NHS and not paid for. I am more then confused ? So we have the 40.8 million Promate not paid , what is the 6.9mm is it manufacturing, is it stock ?

I am being lazy , what was the amt we saw being transferred between IT IS and Primer 6.9 m ? This was months ago .

If that is a fact then I can not nor would wish to dispute. So are you saying that as head of Health and social care Matt Handkock can not be held accountable for the decision knowing transmission was possible in asymptomatic people ? Who wields the ultimate power , could he have said no this can not be allowed because of the inherent dangers in spreading the disease to our most vunerable. Did he turn a blind eye and thus it was allowed to happen ? I am failing to understand properly.

Risehall , poignant , not only screwing over British companies but our elderly. The outright lies about not knowing about asymptomatic transmission . They knew from the start. Novacyt funded the successful trial with Jo Martin. They just were not interested in protecting the elderly and although I didn't personally have to endure the death of an immediate relative , many people I know did and must be devastated afresh to watch the lies start to unravel. Our loved ones are the most precious things in life and his total lack of empathy sickens me.
I think the govt are lucky it can never be proven that the mass deaths in care homes were from untested patients being released from hospitals into them, as there is always the possibility a worker in the care home caused an outbreak. If it were not for that possibility then surely they should be held to account. Just imo

Amers monies owing if dispute won for stage one is approx 23 million. Monies owing for supply of Promate 1st quarter is approx 40 million. If they claim for stock write down because they have irrefutable proof and they were told to buy in readiness for stage 2 is a further 25 odd million. Lost opportunity I think is irrelevant if they win, because they will have the monies owed for fulfilling the contract, which means there was no lost opportunity. If phase two is found to have been a dead cert through things said / written and Novacyt were told not to engage with other clients then perhaps lost opp comes into play. So long story short I simply do not know. Please note this is imo only.
