We all await details. Nobody else appears to have had a problem with the Q instruments nor using our assays on them, same with Promate. We don't know why GM supplied further Promate when phase one hadn't been fully paid up , nor why months later the DHSC raised another contract to order another 4.4m of the product. All we know is it works as multiple other companies use it too. Did GM think by supplying the 40mm of Promate it triggered phase 2 , was the 40 million quids worth of Promate at cost ? We just do not know. All we know is the claim will be nowhere near in amt value to what the DHSC are claiming , with the multiple offsets. Yes of course we wouldn't be sitting in the gutter if the dispute hadn't happened , no one would have an issue with GM's bonus and I for one would be holding a substantially reduced position because I'd have reached my figure of 14 / 15 which seemed easily achievable.
Think we are all sick of this but I have an option to sell if I see a better opportunity , put simply I don't.

No conspiracy , no deliberate attempts to lower share price , look at the markets it's a bear pit. I expect we will hear very soon about what we are to vote on and within time constraints about the DHSC counterclaim as it is mandatory for them to issue or the case can default in DHSC's favour. I fully expect them to RNS as they did when DHSC raised their claim. If they aren't transparent then they might as well cancel AGM until they are as I doubt anyone will be of a mindset to facilitate anything that sees no immediate benefit to shareholders.

I really don't know so unless an explanation proffered how will we be wiser. If we saw 90 mill , that could be the unpaid monies phase one , the 40 odd mill and some comp ?? To anyone looking it could be construed as we admit to 45 mill .

Ah , when we see a counterclaim does anyone know the following. As we already hold the 123 mm or whatever exact amt is ( very diff to tell if amts paid relate in part to first contact or straight orders ) Do we expect to see the amt already paid included in the counterclaim or just the unpaid amts , plus interest , comp or phase two if they believed it was triggered ? If we do see a figure how do we know what it relates to exactly ?

They have been paid in the main for phase one of second contract awarded , DHSCthen ordered more assays , diff type , haven't paid for them approx 44m worth ( used them ) on the instrument's ordered in phase one 2nd contract and now are reclaiming everything paid thus far. In a nutshell !

So either up to six weeks maximum or 3 months dependant on how claim was served and we don't know that. So if six weeks we have to hear prior to AGM. If three months then we should still hear prior to AGM , why delay a counter claim, all prep surely done by now ? Transparency before the AGM would be preferable to all surely ?? Well it would be to me. Issue a stonking counterclaim and fast, you keep telling us you believe you have very strong contractual rights , so it shouldn't be difficult.

Ok , that's what I was missing , the up to three months. So Novacyt have full written details of the claim and how they arrive at figure and still claim very strong contractual rights to refute claim. But we still know nothing except that they have said they are prepared to spend on M&A, but as we are all aware , of yet have chosen not to. I would feel more comfortable if I saw action as to me it would signal they truly mean what they are telling us. We sit stagnating at best whilst Bio devours. I accept we have been told the 'plan ' but the timings of that coming to fruition mean that we see no results whilst the claim continues in the background.
I hope that these partners D.A said he was talking to lead to something he can tell the market about and soon.

I thought that we expected within a set time frame to see Novacyt responding to the DHSC claim ? Has this changed ? As the claim was public should we not expect the response / counter claim to be public also ?

Agree 100 % , I have no idea how widespread or how fast monkeypox will spread , but as a diagnostic company that labels itself as a first responder then I am sure that they will know what is required and if it is required. Their ability and agility is beyond question. So if they decide it is something they need to become involved with then I'm sure we will hear and quickly.

I love bananas with total yogurt and honey for brekkie and in milk shakes , hope that's not indicative of anything . A dose of that would be unbearable. Why now ? It's been around for ages , wonder if folks immunity is screwed by covid and that's why the liver issues in the kids.

Wilson , although a tie up with Biosynex or Tata would be great and both are possibilities , I always feel companies that grow organically , little acorns/ great oaks are a safer bet. The R&D are indeed superb , I am hoping for a very nice suprise , as I said earlier just don't buy the entire squad have been upgrading tests to meet reg requirements. If that is the case then it must be a sorry state of affairs at a lot of our competitors who are not as nimble.
