I understand the absolute frustration about the amt D.A has been paid but ..... it would have been the same for any CEO joining. It is standard market practice . If D.A was due to be paid a bonus at year end by his previous employ , then to leave in Oct he forfeits that and he has negotiated for Novacyt to pay in lieu. I have done the same . Just as staff leaving Novacyt prior to year end will forfeit bonuses , share options LTIP etc. I have even negotiated pay in lieu of a sabbatical I was owed, so imo nothing untoward there WBAFC.

The company have a decision to make and it will force their hand. They will not receive adequate votes as I guess most shareholders feel they lack the neccessary information to enable them to make a balanced judgement call.
At a bare minimum I want to know when the counterclaim will be issued and for what amount. I want to know what products are involved in the claim and who else was using them. I want to know if the products they forward ordered on behalf of the DHSC as stated in the annual report are included in the counterclaim. We are talking about considerable amounts of money and there is no reason why this information should not be released to shareholders.
Regarding M& A targets , I want to know if they have any in their line of vision and if yes expected timelines , if no then the reasons why and convince me it is not because you are reticent to spend any of the banked revenue because of potential dispute outcome.
I did not expect to be still sitting a year later with no hard facts re the dispute.
The recent ( very) increased marketing is nice to see and I would like a commitment from the company that this will continue after the AGM as sentiment is on the floor. I do not accept as stated in the annual report that the company updates shareholders on a regular basis.
I will vote D.A in as I think further delays or an unknown replacement at this stage would not benefit Novacyt.
I am most unhappy with the chairman and Grahams last appearance which he presided over was imo a farce and most disrespectful to the incoming CEO. I also hold him to account for the lack of failure to negotiate a settlement.
If this is not the case then tell your shareholders that the DHSC refused to negotiate.
I don't think any shareholder will attempt to canvas votes , instead it is down to Novacyt to canvas for ours and facts are the only thing that will potentially sway me to vote in a different manner.

Smashed it Hillseeker , 100 % aligned with your line of thought. We also must note the number of vacancies to sell into the NHS , the aim in the UK is still to be a major player in multi assay POC testing. It would appear Tata are actively building the model we hope to achieve a partnership with them would be a great fit. The R&D expertise sits in Novacyt , an invaluable assest.
Without doubt this is also what Biosynex are setting out to achieve , another potentially huge revenue generator. Things certainly bubbling away below the surface and I feel positive about Novacyts future.
I took a quick look at UNICEF approved LFT'S last night and couldn't see an approved spit and go , I will research more over the weekend. It is definitely advantageous regarding ease of use not just in the workplace but in testing the elderly , children and the speed of actually performing the test ( not the 15 minute to results ) the actual motions undertaken.
I also agree nice to see an increase in marketing via numerous avenues. Long may it continue !
