Pubs everywhere here but none within staggering distance or tinkling , down a lane off a lane , up a hill ! Only thing I see venturing into the gardens are escapees ( sheep)or deer. The only vehicles I see down this lane are when once a year there is a graveside mass for all the deceased and cars appear from everywhere and one is housebound for a few hours. Church about 1km away. Bar that just a few locals normally on tractors. But only four miles from Town.

My guess sirD ( conspiracy theory :) ) is that factory shut to ROW as it manufactures for USA, because co developed with USA military. Hogging doses not a good look. Could be wrong but a weird time for a factory producing a monkeypox vaccine to close.

Correct sir D I posted about that a while back. The UK has secured 100 , 000 doses but due for delivery 2023. In the interim in the UK we too under dose and only give one of the two required doses and as is widely publicised are about to run out.
Of note is the advice for males ( if one can still say that ! ) that it should not be taken at same time or within four weeks of a covid booster and names Pfizer, Moderna blah blah as increased risk of myocardial probs.
Furthermore those given a smallpox vaccine should be given this vac as the former wanes over time.

I don't understand why they are only intending to vaccinate children in London boroughs , raw ,sewerage is being released into rivers all over the UK. Polio is highly contagious , surely they need to vaccinate all the children ? Am I misunderstanding something. Poidster how long does a polio vaccination offer protection ? Is this just an issue with the children ? I was very shocked when my son caught mumps at uni but it was explained to me that the vaccine wanes , is it the same with Polio. The govt knew this was a risk and it disgraceful it has been allowed to happen.

On top of the boosters required for covid and the annual flu jabs , not considering Monkeypox vaccs is beyond me.
Think its going to be a tricky start in the run in to Winter, accerebated by no access to patients notes. Let us hope that the impact is not widespread and they can rectify the issues quickly. Got to be a special sort of person to target the NHS in this manner. A lot of sick people about !

You know my thoughts on most of those points
BYP. The DHSC dispute may well have happened to any other competitor to shoehorn the favoured few thru the backdoor. Look at Randox who got contract after contract and the connection with the Tory party. Look at ABDX , Nanopore , ODX , we just unfortunately have been shafted for a much larger amt and DHSC obviously intend to string it out. I believe we will win.
Re Ajan , there is no proof what so ever that what was printed was true and if Novacyt were concerned at all they would have withdrawn the product from CTDA certification. Do not for one moment think I condone the position Novacyt put the company in , it doesn't take a genius to research historical events. However Roche also saw fit to employ him for several years and several other well known institutions.
I cannot argue who was first off the draw with the Moneypox assays as I have insufficient info , all I know is the clades and mutations were still being established and several companies put assays on the market prior to this happening. How good are they ? I don't know.
Re dry ice , I don't pretend to know what they are telling us they have achieved , what differentiates this product is is not clear to me, I understand the usage in hot climates , the ease of transportation, but as you say , it appears to have been on the market for a while. Yet there are articles discussing the need for it in 2020 , so perhaps it is me who doesn't understand.

Hello BYP, it was posted because they still hold approx 4.5 % of Novacyts shares and they sold under 20 %. I posted as I think it is useful to have an idea what a competitor who holds a sizeable lump of Novacyt shares is up to. Yes it highlights the disparities between the two companies and to say it is frustrating is an understatement. I wouldn't be surprised if they raised additional funds and swallowed us whole !
Quite frankly as no partnership has been publicised it would not shock me to learn that there has been no communication between the two companies. D.A needs to start some M&A fast or he will find himself being made redundant by the likes of Bio or a similar outfit. They have streamlined , assume got rid of whom they wanted and ripe for a take out. Not an attempt to ramp in any way , but they have superb tests , R& D , work with world renowned names and managed to earn diddly squat H1. Just imo.

Larry only on android so difficult to read , can we tell if for all diff products and certainly looks like they started ordering over 25 K of certain items from OCT 21. Diff to tell full value as Nova has such an extensive range there could be many multiples of product orders for under 25k.
