For the Times, the arch enemy of MM to have an article titled "Beauty retailer THG is suddenly more attractive" says a lot. Onwards and upwards.
Great find and fantastic news. Disappointing that Boo have not put this an RNS as clearly this alleviates concerns of supply chain logistics and will help US growth following a decline last year.
And there's the crux of it T4G, you can't accept people's views. They are inherently wrong in your eyes. I don't need to go back and count because I know for each of July, August, September they have been 20-30 a day. You are a serial poster on this board and post way more than any normal or average person.
Why are people in your view univested? And why does it matter if they are. Just like you market your rubbish on here, let others have their say. You always have to add your two cents to their comments so why don't you follow your own advice and filter them?
T4G, if I had a pound for the amount of drivel coming out of your mouth....
You are the number one liar and hypocrite on this board.
My story hasn't shifted once. Please post evidence to the contrary? Go on back yourself? You call other people sad and pathetic, yet you spend days arguing with people on here. I am just calling you out on your persistent moaning.
RE the number of posts? Why are you backtracking? Is it because you know you're wrong and have been caught out? Quite easy to count the average posts. You can estimate the posts per page in your posting history and multiply.
I would quote you usually but to be honest don't have time to go through 6000+ posts.
'' I sold Boo on the way up to mitigate risk. I have never sold on the way down to buy back cheaper.''
This is the funniest comment I've heard in a while! You sold to mitigate risk but the first time you mentioned you did this was a month ago? I thought you were always holding for dividends? All the way down from 400p?
By selling to each other, I am referring to your accusations that MMs are selling to their buddies (the shorters) but how is this the case if there is no movement in shortracker?
Also are you being serious? You full well know that prior to this month your average was 30 posts a day. Do you want me to take an average of your posts between now and July and see who's right?
Clearly my crystal ball is working better than yours!
Also to add to your lies, I distinctly remember that you said it was immoral to sell high and buy low and not something that you do. Yet, when goaded by Jongle, you said your realised gains at the highs. You've subsequently bought shares at the lows so what does that say Mr hypocrite?
You love to police the board but when anyone says anything contrary to your opinion they can't possibly be right.
Go ahead and report me if what I'm saying is false.
Also why do you presume I was talking about you? I didn't even name you in my post? Clearly that's how you see yourself too!
T4G, I've unfiltered you today, you would have noticed that I haven't responded to your flurry of green boxes. It doesn't take a genius to go back though your history to see that 4 out 5 posts blame shorters. Your theory is non existent. Shorters have brought this down due to the macroeconomic climate. What evidence do you have that they are buying and selling to each other. If they were it would have been reported on short tracker but it isnt. Do yourself a favour and stop posting 30 times a day.
Nothing will change with this for a year or so as the entire industry is under pressure. Please prove that I am telling lies. Everyone on this board knows that the only thing you bang on about is shorters and MMs. Can't remember the last time you actually didn't moan and provided some useful insight.
You talk about disconnect between the business and sp performance well, Boo is no longer growing its revenues at the rate it was previously and is not making a sizeable profit (in fact will most likely make a loss) so is it really disconnected or was it overvalued to start with?
There's been no news so why do you expect it to suddenly rocket upwards.
Boo needs to first prove that they are able to combat this crisis and ride their way through. The movement is due to macroeconomic factors ie todays rise is entirely due to speculation that the FED will raise interest rates by 75 basis points and calm their rate hikes as we go forward.
Not everything is shorters and MMs. Sick and tired of people (well one person) attributing it to that all the time.
Did they just sell 5%?
I think Alex is still waiting for that too. Looks like he's the one who is MIA.

Kachrafilter ... you got out a few days ago, and have been on here daily since then congratulating yourself on your trading smarts. My bet ... and this comes from experience ... is that when the SP turns you'll go missing in action? Let's see whether I am right.
So Crawshaw, how many of the shorter funds do you think have gone through the due diligence of getting a Sharia compliant loan? I don't think it's that straightforward hence it does provide a bit more of a roadblock to shorters
Could be a total stab in the dark, but I don't think QIA would loan shares out as it might go against the principles of Sharia Law so this could end up being quite problematic for the shorts wanting to close. Could totally be making this up but just a thought!
chat so much rubbish - much like the other idiot who suggested that Sequoia Capital China were going to buy out Boohoo.
That was shortlived - back to the top of the charts
Doubtful, RevB will take time. They need to appoint an external committee to do an investigation and the report will take a while to come out. I think we will likely hear something on that front after the new year.
Though I think the long term momentum is definitely upwards, this will be volatile in the interim period due to macro economic factors outside of Boos control. They just need to keep their head down and deliver on their updated guidance as of September. If they can show that they are able to control their costs and be profitable and overall, that their model works, the market will react positively. Timing is key, these things work in cycles!
I am considering opening a small short at 40p for the simple reason that the share price is so volatile and that it will take time for a sustained rise due to macro factors.
The only connection Sequoia has to Boohoo is the fact that they own a stake in Citadel Securities who in turn own a 5% stake in Boo. Like everything its unsubstantiated and just a rumour - they haven't even started building a direct stake so why go and bid for the whole company lol.
Happy my response was to valuetrap and not you.
Also he is referring to Sequoia Capital China who own a stake in Shein.
Happy look at my posts, all informative with backed up views and opinions unlike the majority of the posts on here on both sides. I champion balance, always have done with my posts. So don't say what I wrote is ironic. Tool.
Can you post proof or evidence of this. Its BS, unsubstantiated claims like this that riles people up.
