The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Bought a few sausage skins again, been out for a while. I see there has been a director buy a few in the open market. As the old saying goes...whats good for the goose is good for the gander. GLA
Not really! The job of auditor went out to competitive tender, good to see the company saving £ wherever possible.
The new auditors are a reputable firm too.
End of year on the 31st March. May see some director buys after that. Not enough stamp collectors in the world and a lot of people lost a lot of money on investments in stamps. Should come back though, some newbies into the market and get those stamps and coins moving..
Agree with PYUECK I bought a thousand shares yesterday for a long term hold. Happy to go in again with another tranch if it drops to 220 or below.
Merger or not, Sainsburys will develop into a core holding for me. GLA
The markets will likely hold the sp back to facilitate better value for this second buy back. Thereafter, I feel Lloyds will return a handsome capital gain and an ever improving yield over the coming years. I have gone all in on Lloyds over the past year and am happy with my decision. Patience is the key. Good luck to all invested here.
Skier, I think you are wrong.
Lidl and Aldi will reach a peak of market share soon. Most folk I know use them fora while and migrate back to their old favorites. Personally I spread it about, whoever is closest when I need what I need.
Booker
Great set of resjlts. Booked up 11% on like for like. Tesco 12 consecutive quarter of growth.
Skier, you were saying...
One of the worse decisions Buffett ever made was bottling his Tesco holding. He would be the first to admit it now.
More nonsense, it must be catching!
Skier1, absolute rubbish. Tescos is doing very well thanks. Paying down debt and adapting well to market conditions. Making good profits and once again paying a dividend. Totally disagree with your made up rubbish.
Well do it then.
Bought 1000 shares in AV earlier. I'm happy with a 6% yield and will be in for 1000 more if they dip from here. If not then never mind. Long term hold but would sell at £5 if it comes. Good luck all here.
Just goes to show what clowns these brokers are. Thank god I didnt buy any. KCOM is drowning in debt and I dont see a way out for them. Steer clear folks, a risky investment even at 25p
I am more than disappointed with CH. We have basically all been shafted.
If you were the Slovenian government minister responsible for issuing the IPPC permit what would you do? Allow some upstart of a British company to start fracking on your doorstep to line the pockets of greedy board members and UK investors.
The permit will never appear and PG10 will turn to crap. Colin has always known this, why do you think he has so little skin in the game? Half of you guys own more shares than the main man, doesn't that tell you something.
This whole thing has been an exercise for Hedos / lombards etc to get their money out and for CH and Carver to fill their bank accounts. The whole thing stinks and is a lesson learned.
Welshandproud, sorry to say but in my opinion this will not come good, ever. Ultimately the a Slovenians will just bide their time until AST have evaporated away to nothing. No gas, no money. Then they will simply take over for sweet fa.
If you're a lefty it seems everything you don't agree with is bile.
caitlin1 JC prime minister and Abbott home secretary! Even the most stupid of individuals would think twice. Not going to happen and prey tell, what has brexit got to do with our utilities?
Did some work on an MOD base this month and Carillion are there! Still working, still carrying out contracts as if nothing has happened. If a bunch of administrators can run the company, makes you wonder why that bunch of fat cat thieves on the board were even needed. They should be rounded up, stripped of all assets and made to start again from the bottom. After a holiday at HMP somewhere where they could ponder for a couple of years over how they have behaved.
Yaaawn!
