I agree no publicly available data exists for helium in the Officer basin, it took me a fair bit of research to find snippets from original hussar drill. Which never reached target depth btw, but you'll already know that.

As I said officer basin remains relatively under explored.

As far as the geology goes, i'll side with the consensus of expert geologists over BB theories.

As I'm sure your extensive research has revealed, the general consensus is that the amadeus and officer basin used to be one.

So there's a high probability they share similar properties.

It's just a fact that the Amadeus basin was easier to develop logistically, whilst the officer basin was left relatively under explored.

Not sure the actual well application would have been moved off hold, if there were issues with the environmental plan. Surely it would of just remained on hold if changes were needed? Thoughts?

My theory, they won't be able to approve until environmental plan status changed. They may have had the thumbs up but won't be able to change status until environmental plan status changes. Which I believe is a separate department.

Mr Hamilton was naive in saying 10-15 days, actual processing time is about 10-15 Days. Except for the environmental application, which I've already stated has no processing time. It takes aslong as it takes.

Your comment earlier about the actual drill permit being pending, Was correct. But it's reliant on the environmental plan, can't have one without the other now can we?

The offtake agreement, hmmmm I also have reservations about. My research has gone about as far as most other people's. You just hit a brick wall. Whether it's legit or not will remain to be seen. It maybe something to do with Mr Papiri or not, no idea.

The well, I believe well re-entry experts deem it possible. I believe someone from aztec drilling was used from memory, although not certain without refreshing it.

So don't hold me on that one.

By no means have I said this is nailed on by the way. It is risky, but the rewards could be monumental.

It's defined as petroleum under the 1967 regs where hydrocarbons are present.

No 11 more permits you fruit loop, extracted as petroleum mix under section c of the regs your minister friend quoted. No wonder he told you to stop pestering him! These are important people to be spending time on you! With you jilted ex syndrome.

(b) any naturally occurring mixture of hydrocarbons, whether in a gaseous, liquid or solid state; or

(c) any naturally occurring mixture of one or more hydrocarbons, whether in a gaseous, liquid or solid state, and one or more of the following, that is to say, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen, helium and carbon dioxide,

I now get the fact that your issue is personal towards Hamilton and Wallace and not with the actual project.

Emotional decisions based on prejudices have no place in buisness or investment, tends to cost you in the long run.

When the various regulations have been drafted and approved to coincide with the Petroleum Legislation Amendment Act 2024, the definition for regulated substances will include Hydrogen and Helium specifically.

An existing title holder will be able to apply for the rights to those regulate substances. All new petroleum permits granted will include the rights to regulated substances too.

DD, I can assure you that me registering on lse is purely coincidence. I joined lse for another helium play, although I watched Gex from IPO, I never invest in junior exploration companies at such an early stage. The reason being it's cash intensive, highly regulated and thus things take time.
