Just for clarification, from your minister friend.
Under 1967 regs I may add.
I direct you to the current legislation, the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Resources Act 1967 and the definition of βPetroleumβ as described under section 5. Iβve bolded the relevant text for you to make it easy:
petroleum means β
(a) any naturally occurring hydrocarbon, whether in a gaseous, liquid or solid state; or
(b) any naturally occurring mixture of hydrocarbons, whether in a gaseous, liquid or solid state; or
(c) any naturally occurring mixture of one or more hydrocarbons, whether in a gaseous, liquid or solid state, and one or more of the following, that is to say, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen, helium and carbon dioxide,
