You always get protests with these drills but will not stop the drilling from going ahead.
The pandemic has devastated the Bahamian economy as is heavily reliant on tourism. The result has been a new drive to diversify the economy and this exploration is at the top of those efforts.
Many others in the region eg USA, Mexico, Trinidad etc already have huge oil industry so why why shouldn't the Bahamian?
This is in the interest of the people of that highly indebted island which has been devastated by hurricanes and now the collapse in tourism. Who knows when tourism numbers will return to prepandemic levels or if at all?

6p xmas target in tact. dont let the tree huggers discourage you. one thing they always fail to get is that oil has been one of the key drivers of economic growth and development in many of the worlds poorest and developing communities. oil has taken hundreds of millions out of poverty across the world over the last 100+ years.

P2F is continuing to receive enquiries from prospective distributors and purchasers for its viricidal mask and now anticipates that future demand for its mask may outstrip the production line capacity of five million viricidal face masks per month.

Next Steps
