Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Anyone who can't work that out shouldn't be investing in shares at all, IMHO.
Filtered Sangi, Emerald, Bantham, tomhuk and Twogood, because if I wanted to go back to kindergarten, I'd borrow one of Trump's diapers. LTH since the very beginning. Still hopeful of a happy ending but maybe that's why I'm in kindergarten.
Exactly what I was thinking. They must be expecting a large increase in the share price to accept this deal...
Apologies obmuj. The trauma of the Idiens years made me forget the Vane name. I was in at the beginning and I know the founders. Idiens had a dozen years of salaries on our money without ever having any success, and I used to have uncharitable thoughts about him. However, as apalling as his reign was, he did get us into the Paradox, and then, thank the great thing in the sky, he left and CH took over
For LTHs like me, who bought shares in a mineral exploration company called Vane Mining, which morphed into Rose Petroleum, this has been a tortuous ride. However, since CH and co have taken over, I have finally felt we have a management who know what they are doing and will make us lots of money. It is frustrating for LTH and others to have passed through this last year of delays and upsets, but if you lived through Vane and Rose, you know this is sooooo much better. Onwards and upwards.
Having worked in Mining and exploration for 35 years, and also having a petroleum related MSc, I think it's important to remember that only 'no gold' or 'no oil/gas' in the deposit are zero sum games. Extraction of natural resources is never straight forward, there are always 'unexpected' problems (what I like to call, run of the mill operational issues) and delays. If the deposit is rich, it will eventually pay out. If you can't afford to set fire to the money, you shouldn't invest in natural resource shares, because you often lose everything you invest. In this case, it's just a glitch and the worst risk (no oil/gas) has already been covered. Patience required. GLA jj
Bamps, Diorite, an intermediate rock, is not likely to be the source for Chrome, which is found in layered ultramafic rocks and ophiolite sequences. I don't really keep up with the geology in detail outside the actual Haverion deposit, so I'm not sure where it has come from. Also, I am not an expert in Chrome....
Bamps, I don't bother much with the board these days because of all the ill-informed b0ll0x on here, but always glad to read your technical calcs. Makes a girl dream of better days. Come on GGP, put out a new resource and let's light the rocket.
You'll regret it so much.
I worked in the DRC for a year. My job involved saving a failing project. I wont go into details but the country manager had set up a scam whereby he requested budget for replacing machinery and then kept the money for himself. No one ever checked if the machinery got replaced, because no one wanted to work in the Congo. I found all the heavy machinery up on blocks with no tyres and broken tracks. And much, much more. And having lived 12 years in Ecuador I can tell you that the only weird thing would be if no one local had set up a scheme to steal from the project... Lack of serious management is rife in mining companies, due to far too many complacent people who sit at desks in other countries earning huge salaries. I know, believe me.
Maybe the Supreme Court isnt the only leaky institution in the USA?
The Solgold Acquisition. :-)
I'd check your pulse...
obmuj - me too. But do we wait in Vane?
Thank you SmokeyRose, and chaps, for your support. I have been in Ecuador for a month and under the weather with the Vid, so just emerging into sun again. I think the only way of getting heard is to go for the legal aspects, as per my suggested email. If NCM are not releasing material changes to the resource, they are in contravention of normal practice. I don't have any figures at hand but I reckon Telfer shutting down would be material, so anything that prevents this is too. Good luck all.
If I was to email NCM, I'd send something more like this...
'I would like an explanation of why NCM has decided not to release material results from Havieron, contrary to market regulations. As a shareholder of Greatland Gold, I was much dismayed to note that despite over a year of further, and extraordinary, drill results from Havieron, the MRE2 was delayed. Not only is this contrary to all the statements and promises put out before Christmas, but it also contravenes market regulations of informing shareholders of a material change in the company’s position. The increase in resource will affect Telfer operations to a major degree and is also material in the value of Greatland Gold and the 5% currently being negotiated. Please let me know why this has not been expedited and presented at the end of February as was promised.
IMHO, JJ
I'm buying Greatland
For reasons I cannot explain
There's some part of me wants to hold
Greatland
And I may be obliged to defend
Every result, every drillhole
Or maybe there's no obligations now
Maybe I've a reason to believe
We all will be reprieved
By Greatland
Merry Christmas and enjoy your four days of market free jollity.
Hydrogen, the very best to you too and keep those excellent technical updates coming. We need more science. PJ
Thank you for reading my book. It means a lot. PJ
Oh little group of Solgers,
how long we see thee sigh
Even thought its hard to sleep
With thoughts of yearly high
Yet in the dark night shineth
the everlasting light
the hopes and fears of all the years
are met in new years height.
Merry Christmas and Fingers Crossed.
