Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Ha, BigPlan, to be fair your view on the lines moving around is very sound, so though I said it in jest, I also left them because it was a valid point you made.
Re: the top trend. I feel it is only in force during this neutral period and fully expect it to be broken, mightily, once we get our good news, though if no news (for whatever reason) you're correct that the trend takes us to 32-33p on 1st Sept.
Whether these prices are a product of behavioural economics, or deliberate manipulation, they seem to be acting as a rough guide for the market as to where the high, low and mid prices are currently.
As I said to dbd, I'm looking forward to the next leg up because the news we hope for will no doubt shatter that top trend and give a much clearer indication of the northward direction we're heading in.
Hi dbd, thanks. No moon this time, but only because I've stuck the top trend line rigidly to the three max peaks we've had in recent months.
I'm very interested to see where the next max price spike takes us though, as it will obliterate that top trend and give us a much clearer indication of the new positive trajectory (moon?).
Soon, no moon trend yet, but soon?.. "You betcha".
J
Just in case anyone's still interested in where we are currently sp-wise.
Here's the log chart (I'm sticking with log as I think, as we hope, we go exponential soon). I've also, under advice, I've left the trend lines alone ;)
No forecasts, make of it what you will. (Seems to be safer that way)

Bigplan , problem is how you *think* charts are used vs how they are actually useful...
Lol, imagine going through your receipts for your previous tax year and saying "Well, what good my business records are! They couldn't predict my car breaking down could they!".
Charts do not predict outliers! They literally show a record of how the stock price has moved in the past, and predict that if everything stays relatively neutral, it'll continue on that trajectory.
How did you track the progress of Covid? Ignore the charts, tables, graphs, etc., and made the numbers up as you went?
I'm just playing with you, but you get my drift.
J
In the short term interim, yes.
However, charts are useful only the periods in between big events, and HE1 is going to be subject to exactly those kind of outliers, which will break the trends in a blink and form new ones.
Whilst we wait though, yes, we should continue bobbing along anywhere between the trends.
J
Well what a day!
Thought I'd check out how the price action looks on the books and even today's very volatile action seems to have followed (or reinforced) a bottom trend, specifically on the log chart, which is rather interesting from a technical viewpoint..
Anyhow, chart attached as usual, no forecasts.

Just reflecting on many of the posts on this bb, I was thinking about the RNS.
The point in time we've arrived at with regard to the next RNS is really extraordinary.
It strikes me that just putting together the RNS, with all it's nuances and ramifications, could in itself be a weighty job.
Not only that but a discovery on the scale that we hope and have been led to speculate on would be monumental, not just "oh, we've found that small oil reserve we were looking for".
It seems to me that if they have discovered, or are due to discover, something so huge there will not just be an RNS to produce but surely, as steve58 mentioned, there will be newspaper articles being written and coverage on numerous other related news medias. This all requires accurate information and careful consideration, which also take a little time.
I'm wondering, has anyone else on this board ever experienced being in a company who have made a *major*, newsworthy discovery? If so, what could one expect?
J
Likewise @Glib, I saw the bottom of the channel but it didn't seem as probable as to hit it.
Oh well, I guess the MM's will probably keep the price action within the 25-23p range of last week before the RNS news takes us on a trip.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this, or uploaded it before me, but I've just found the 'Emmerson PLC Shareholder Call' uploaded by the company yesterday.
I found it informative.

Rather enjoyable day today. This is how it looks on the graph:

It's about time we left 2.2p behind. Good riddance.
