Looking at the 'trades' on lse, it show buys above the offer. If these buys are buys, why? My first time involved in a takeover.

I've been averaging down for approx 12 months with this nightmare share, if I sell now my profit with be the princely sum of £7.50p, not counting costs.

I dunno where I saw this, either here or another board, but someone said that schools and colleges buy/sell small amounts. Not sure why, maybe something to do with economic lessons etc.

Any reason for this move up today??

I get the feeling that there's alot of profit taking happening @0.016+. You gonna have to be lucky to sell there. Unless big news hits, which it should, that's probably the ceiling for a while.

I don't wanna burst bubbles, but if this gets to 1p, with just under 37.5b shares in circulation, there will be a massive sell off, there are a lot of people with huge amounts locked up in this, 1p as we all know is 1%, it simple maths. 1% of 25m, qtr of a mill, I really think it won't make it to that level. I do hope I'm wrong.

Moon, I usually ignore your posts, but I feel I need to remind you, that having 50 m in icon 'since last year' would be a bit difficult, icon were suspended in June 2021, last year was 2022, we are now in 2023. I know we are early ish 2023, but I would have thought even you would grasp the concept that when, as a global entity we spin for 24 hours from 31st Dec to the 1st Jan, we have then crossed into the next 365/6 cycle around our star, which means you add another number to the 365/6 day cycles around our star, since the birth of christ aka AD.

As I have said before, I doubled up on this at 4.00, which put me in at 20p, about 2 weeks before suspension I haven't got hundreds and thousands invested, just what I'm happy to lose. Since suspension I've heard all sorts on this board, some saying it will return in the +40's some saying we're sunk without a trace, I don't think anyone is sure yet, prob not even the miners themselves. I feel alot depends on the copper price and the hedge if we can get the ball rolling in the future. If you're panicking a little about you're investment, maybe this 'game' is not for you. I do hope for a positive outcome, but I'm not overly bothered. I've been in ICON for approx 2 years,18 months or so of which, it has been suspended, but its gonna be back some time soon apparently, they're just dotting the 'T's & crossing the 'I's as I type . That was all doom and gloom at the time of suspension and thereafter. Just never say never. GLA.

@martinu, I BOW down to your nautical analogy, it would seem we will all need to be made of STERN stuff, this is indeed of need of supPORT, you are by far the STAR of this BOARD.

I doubt that what is said on these boards has much influence over what happens to the share price, if any. The big boys have their own agenda, and analysis teams guiding the way. After all is said and done, the market always does what it does, regardless. At the time of 'posting', this is 1.7% down. This is the market view of this RNS. That's basically it.

As I've said before, I've been in at 36p for a long time, I doubled up at 4p, on a hunch, put me in at 20p. About 2 weeks later we were suspended. Just my luck, I thought. I'm used to suspension, I've been with ICON for over 18 months, (you don't scare me, and your suspenders) if what you say is true, 30p, I'll be a very happy Santa's little helper. GLA.
