Science hasn't changed, new joint-broker (why bring them in unless for a specific reason i.e. raising finance to progress to P1 or help negotiate takeover), HNWI investment at much higher levels than this.
Bought more based on that.
In for a penny etc
I agree it could be longer term than we would like, as anything is possible - however I don't believe we'd get PH on board to help negotiate licensing/takeover deals in 3-5 years time. I think they've been brought in because the big pharma are circling and Sareum want someone with clout to sort it for them. If nothing was on the cards short-term, why bother.....Just my opinion obvs.
Been in since 2011, read the board with interest everyday. Some fantastic knowledgeable posters here. 1m shares held and will not be selling until the news comes that we've been waiting for.
Look forward to crossing that finish line you speak of JB!
Still plenty of time/room for our Covid treatment which is looking to help patients with severe Covid and who are already hospitalised (and therefore where death a more likely end result).
The Merck pill seems a bit of a damp squib in comparison (to me anyway) as it's for mild-moderate Covid where the risk of hospitalisation and therefore death is low anyway (in their trial of 775 patients 7.3% who were given the drug were hospitalised compared with 14.1% who had the placebo).
Interested in the thoughts of others....
Just doing a bit of reading about exercising of shares on a buyout/takeover. Found this online:
'A buyer will not want to acquire a company which has un-exercised options over the target’s shares which are still capable of exercise.'
'Another consideration to make life easier when the options are exercised before a take over is to allow the options to be exercised on a cash free basis. From an employee’s side, not having to find the exercise price in cash can be very helpful and from the company’s perspective it saves the administrative exercise of coordinating the collection of cash from individuals. Instead the amount owed for the shares purchased on exercise of the options is deducted from the cash proceeds of the shares that are sold to the buyer on the sale.'
Taken from Ashfords practical tips on share option schemes - can't post link.
Just thoughts....
