yrabsmurruc - I believe you are right about the MMs, but the real problem is the BoD allowing an environment to develop where they can take the P*ss.

Ignore the MM's our problem is the lack of clear communications, ironic for a communications company - they understand why it's so important to other companies but can't recognise their own frailties. No IR - no investor support, it's pretty straight forward

I just posted that the upcoming event was on 22nd June - that would actually be 22nd July of course.

The company have just added details of an online event, 22nd June, which it is intended will be repeated monthly for potential customers on Linkedin.

bigsmoke - that statement promises building of a "platform" this year and growth in 2022 not this year and elsewhere they said this year will be the same as last year- market expectations are therefore for no growth in 2021.

They have made it very easy on themselves with very uninspiring targets for the year - no wonder some shareholders have sold and moved on. It's only because they are so well bedded in with longstanding shareholders (those invested pre-listing) that they can get away with being so uninspired. IMO it is so they can claim success at the end of the year, they're confident because it's easy.

I don't think they are concerned in the slightest about 2021 profitability as long as it's enough to satisfies shareholders, they are focused on building the client base and future revenues even it it involves spending heavily (reducing profits) this year - and it's the right strategy IMO.

It's the growth in forward revenues I'm most interested in. Lets not forget growth companies don't tend to make big profits, it's jam tomorrow - but if there's no growth and no profitability improvement the company will be toast.

We all know beyond doubt Steve will be working 24/7 to get us there, I feel so happy now I've put it into perspective with my detailed analysis.

bigsmoke - I'm certain there will be opportunities to partner up with big players ( further down the food chain than MS and Amazon ) to take on much bigger contracts and sub-contract services to a much bigger outfit who need to build a broad capability. They mentioned the possibility of an unbranded service to other service providers as I recall. They're already doing it with C&W.

We are fighting for a very small portion of the massively expanding market for cloud services and remote meeting market.

Henderson are right in a way, that Loopup are competing against some very powerful players but they are rightly targeting niche areas with premium services. I've just read an article that I believe illustrates both many of the factors that mean Loopup can succeed the size of the opportunity; it's about the JEDI contract for Cloud services with the US Department of Defence.

First the sheer size of it, $10bn and the parties fighting for it Amazon and Microsoft (arguably the strongest players)in bitter dispute, though I suspect it is one of the world's largest there will be many other multi $billion contracts the big boys are fighting for, Loopup are not in that game the contract they are chasing I doubt the big boys would put major effort into winning unless it's likely an easy win $10,000/month - Loopup can distinguish themselves with a bespoke service and I suspect there are plenty of under the radar opportunities without fighting the big boys

The JEDI contract was won by Microsoft and now cancelled also illustrated the problem with anyone provide a solution that fully fits a demanding clients needs, it's impossible, even for Microsoft, as those needs are evolving - Loopup can surely meet the need of some client better than any of the competition as a result of their niche experience.

The other thing I noticed was, yes Amazon and Microsoft are arguably the strongest players yet that's not why they get an exclusive shot at the contract, it's because of very specific capabilities., primarily secret information, straight away we can draw parallels with the UK government departments, patient confidentiality etc and especially the Law firms that Loopup are targeting - those niche markets are unlikely to be threatened by mass competition any time soon.

The opportunity is there, I'm sure of that, we just need the BoD to demonstrate Loopup have got to grips with there task with a good RNS.

Wouldn't surprise me one little bit to find that Steve is in negotiation with parties about a takeover.

I looked at his Linkedin comments and he posted "Well played, Rob!" to congratulate the CEO of an IT company that sold out to Mastercard, so he thinks it's good for CEO's to surrender their business, not exactly a staunch I believe in seeing plans through message.

He may as well flog the company to someone if we can get a premium - as we're going nowhere at the moment.

It all comes down to your definition of transformational.

Our BoD's understanding is a little different from ours, they actually mean "transitional" very similar and easily confused - it is practically the same thing except there no visible change, we're just on our way guys - there is no point continually asking "are we there yet"

Remember we're on a journey with Steve in the driving seat , it will be lovely when we get there with fun along the way.

Yes procurement is done via normally done via frameworks, I looked at the NHS procurement system because of the C19 fiasco.

It isn't just about producing the cheapest price (just like PS), also in that sector the clients are not risk takers to the extent of the private sector (empowered) and want proof of competence, staff, resources and experience to protect from criticism, the fact they know a company already is of immense value

I've been revisiting old updates and came across this statement from 6th May 2020:

"Our team is working hard to ensure our global platform capacity remains comfortably above demand level as our customers, many of which are major professional services firms, are relying on us as a business-critical means of secure communication. We are proud of the role we are playing, which includes providing service to approximately 20 NHS trusts, currently on a pro bono basis."

Surely that statement provides clear evidence that we are in the running to provide services to government departments, if they took free services from Loopup that means they had no incumbent supplier so potential business is up for grabs - I assume Loopup are still providing a free trail but we may have gained momentum in that sector now even if not contracted clients as yet, the first (hardest step getting through the door) step has been taken.

Henderson's action help to explain the weakness, but I think there are other players that have made strategic decisions based on our BoD apparent failure to capitalise on the events of 2020 and poor (perhaps a better word is Guarded) communication of what is going on .

I believe Henderson have got it wrong, not their action as that's their choice but their reasoning, it's simply a guess from them (time will tell), there's always been competition, but understandably so as our BoD have allowed us all to guess at what is truly going on.

As I've said previously they have a new strategy and have stabilised operations (appear to have) with a huge potential customer pipeline. It's all up for grabs by our BoD.

What we need now is - no more disappointing updates please Steve, but even more importantly get the situation clarified for god's sake. Just level with shareholders - it's your duty, which we pay you to do. So you screwed up previously, it's no reason to go into your shell.

The most interesting thing about today was the lack of interest.

16 small trades ( biggest 10000) the lack of interest is probably represents the true scale of interest with the manipulative trades stripped out.

It short players wanted to catch us out today was a great day - perhaps we are overestimating their current fire power.

It will be very interesting if we get good operational news to see what some buying pressure will do.

I do worry, if the SP starts rising it could get out of control and the BoD wouldn't be able to stop it.

It's the stuff of nightmares, keeps me awake at night - hope no one else is suffering this anxiety.

Yes - they either grow or get eaten - unlike some industries there's no to simply stick in your comfort zone in IT/Comms there are always competitors trying to muscle in, and although they have picked a niche area to trade in as their core market no one outside the big brands like Microsoft and Apple gets automatic selection from clients . Loopup are going to have to fight all the way and IMO become more visible.

The new website is a good but I don't see much evidence of their presence at events or formally speaking to the market, hopefully they'll start shouting a little louder when they start to gain momentum.

I suppose we must remember this is a secret venture though, we shouldn't even be discussing it on this BB, and they may need to encrypt all future RNS's or redact key sections to ensure no one fully understands what's going on. God forbid they generate invertor attention and push the SP up.

I really think there is no limit here, the prize is enormous and it is trukty up for grapbs in the next few years.

But in IT it's a sort of winner takes all and they need to move fast as they a now moving into a very crowded market with some powerful competitor - they need to distinguish themselves, as Zoom did (their growth has been astonishing ).

Being in their niche and now having the most important ingredient in achieving success in place, a clear STRATEGY, I'm very hopeful , prior to the pandemic it was very muddled

I'm beginning to think this has turned into a shell company with no operations to report upon. May as well delist this as Steve F treats it like a private company anyway. Anybody would think all our contracts are with MI5, where information leaked lands you in prison or worse, paying more for your options.

So the slow drift continues, probably largely down to boredom at this stage. This was touted as a transformational year - that usually means lots of things happening and loads to report.

They have ground to make up with shareholders . in previous years they provided a presentation (of sorts for a secret society like Loop) and not really targeting PI's, hopefully they honour us with something this year.

I'm hopeful they are now on the right track now MeetingZone is merged they can focus fully on growing the business - growth could literally be anything.

I'll have to decline, I couldn't possibly lie with such natural ease as the post requires. Let alone cheating on my wife and children.

There's secret camera's everywhere as well as the one's in full view, MH got caught because he is a disgusting, complacent, dishonest, idiotic slime ball who thought he was bullet proof, caught out by the biggest camera available for covert surveillance of morons. it was even painted orange, but enough with the compliments.

BJ also got sacked for the almost identical thing so explains why he thought it OK for MH and evidence even suggests the later BJ cheated on a new woman he was cheating on his wife with, it's too far fetched even for soap drama fans.

So, I think every bit as highly of him as I do of MH, what a guy, but what do I know a good portion of the British public now accepts (probably not soap opera fans) routine dishonesty and low moral standards as long as it's wrapped in a thick-skinned comical persona and the lies suit them.

I suppose I should be insulted you think I could make the grade. I forgive you though as I know you're one of the good guys. lol
