Paddyboy1 - I can't say I'm happy either, but lets stick to facts as we've just been given them.

I'm not ramping, I'm presenting facts and reasoned opinion, nothing I say has any bearing on the SP today, the company has been left vulnerable be incompetent management - that explains everything. And you can bet today the MMs and shorters are helping this on it's downward journey - it's not just shareholders selling so cheap IMO. MM's will balance their books when they think the game is up.

I'm not trying to console anyone, most of us are sitting on losses, I'm trying to retain some balance, our BoD have a habit of delivering a mixed bag with enough of a negative to allow the company to get trashed - they need to up their game dramatically.

The RNS contains many positives - but they are drowned out by the H1 revenue which was never going to dazzle anyone.

Your comments are not based on the actual information or provide any explanation of how you come to your conclusion - you appear to be trying to spread fear - please tell me I'm wrong?

BigBoo2 - my point was that £20 is not just wishful thinking, if companies get to test phase, them the contract in Loopup's to lose. If the pipeline continues to progress as it has since launch of Cloud Comms them revenue will grow very strongly.

Lets hope this is our darkest hour, I suspect the SP will rise from here but that just my opinion, we all know the SP is attacked if there is an opportunity. Lots of investors will have waited for that update to sell, so pent up demand released this morning, and then there's "buy on the rumour sell on the news" philosophy - lets see what it looks like in a weeks time - good profit for some I suspect.

That statement is full of speculation and only the last bit resonates with me. Reality is the update contains details of achievements, including transitioning existing customers to more secure contract, all be it on lower revenue it needs to be done to retain them " move to our more cost-effective committed term subscription and minimum spend contracts (now approximately 62% of total revenue)" - the bigger that number gets the less customers they will lose to competitors who are most likely buying off the easy targets.

They signed 15 new client up and have a huge increase in advanced stage negotiations, they have said they are in late stage discussions with potential partners (large scale) and will update the market (RNS!). They need to update the market on shareholder session (RNS!). Half year results (RNS!)

They have increased the opportunities pipeline and given us the first indications of its validity.

Overall disclosure on this occasion has been good so I disagree with your statement - it is not reality.

Perhaps the most promising statement is:

"The Group's pipeline of directly sourced new Cloud Telephony opportunities remains strong with a TCV of £117 million, and the percentage of opportunities at an advanced stage has increased to 17% of pipeline value, from 7% at the end of March 2021."

That goes a good way to indentify how serious the pipeline is (not wishful thinking). 17% of £117m is £19.89m.

So near £20m of likely new revenue at an advanced stage, I assume going to trail period or in trail period. Bearing in mind customers signed up in the period from the previous batch of late stage negotiation and approximately another 5, it represents impressive progression of leads IMO. Real momentum, but as they point out, it takes time.

On top of that there is the potential for new revenue streams (indirect) and other pipeline potential to materialise

The problem goes back to being caught flat-footed when C19 struck , but though H1 revenue took a hit, everything appears to be progressing well with new initiatives

Strategy is working, new customer momentum is building and will be in place for 3 years so the growth is inevitable if they continue to convert the pipeline.

In the meantime the revenue reduction is balanced by a reduction in costs, I think the market has overreacted but it is not surprising as the company has lost the confidence of many shareholders by not providing the information in a timely manner. Good or bad news needs to be delivered when available, saving it up has seen the SP slide for months and then take a hit today.

It must be remembered that the new customers signed up well into H1 will not have contributed to revenue for the whole period! In H2 they will.

The SP should recover later today, a dip on delivery of mixed news is not unusual.

Amica1 - that is a mystery, the company don't publish any dates for release of information, remember this is a top secret organisation, why the hell should they, count yourself lucky to even have heard of them, Correction, I meant probably "unlucky".

The results must be before 1st January 2022 that's all you or I need to know., it's on a need to know basis.

Take no notice of Bigboo2, (s)he is having an "end of tether" type day with Loopup, I have a couple every week if you haven't noticed.

Yes Cisco makes a good contribution, and we already have a deal with one large operator in the Cable & Wireless (C&W) deal for a number of companies.

Though C&W are not what they where in terms of size (I believe they sold some of their interests to Vodafone), they still provide a presence in a number of, off grid, countries where they would otherwise struggle to have any impact.

Even though I feel the same as you, my goodwill towards our management team has evaporated, I try to be balanced with the positives the company has left us (all be it unintentionally).

We do what we can.

Finally on this subject, I noted that on the company's website they lead the Partnering section with this headline:

"Strategic go-to-market alliances"

The key aspect is "go-to-market", that is very important, they are not asking for alliances which requires software development of costs - "Oven Ready" deals only

There's enough business to win without excess investment, so hopefully the cost of acquisition of customers will fall again this year

Loopup's latest Blog aimed at potential partners suggest it is a HUGE opportunity for potential partners, that's a pretty bold statement considering some of those companies could well be much bigger than Loopup.

Also if it's a "HUGE" commercial opportunity for each potential partner - what does it represent for Loopup who see themselves at the centre of it??

The focus on partnerships and requests for interest perhaps provides some comfort that Loopup could expand rapidly into new areas of competency without resort to buying a business (Meeting Zone type solution).

The message of the website is that partners could sell Loopup products to their advantage, but surely if you reverse that then those strategic partnerships could well leave Loopup with the possibility of reciprocally selling the products of the new partners to provide additional traction for them! Of course there is no evidence of that yet, but IMO it could be a natural progression at least with some of them

The request for multiple partners on the website will also help prevent any exclusivity arrangement that will constraint the growth of Loopup, would also help protect from a takeover approach as a new owner would have to honour agreements.

For me this development could turn out to be the biggest opportunity of all for Loopup, the could reach a market of millions of users at virtually no cost who would otherwise be impossible to reach. More than anything Loopup need to gain some momentum and show the market they really are on the right path, that is more important than the actual revenue this year.

yrabsmurruc - thanks for your efforts yet again. I don't want you to jump to the conclusion again that I'm criticising you - as I'm not.

I would have thought the best time was immediately or 7am tomorrow if the news is available. You never know, perhaps tomorrow - only takes a few hours to ask opinions of advisors - I suspect it will be complicated by having to announce a shareholder session.

I think the trading record (as reported) is a work of fiction. Some trades are not being reported, some are fictitious and others reported wrongly.

The only ethical way the SP could have dropped so much today is if some entity is selling with delayed reporting request else it's crooked IMO.

castle - that's normal for this, yesterday there where loads of minute sells, but also a first for me , at trade for 0 shares was reported.

bigsmoke - it is a very important point you make.

If anyone is interested in buying Loopup out they will not be excited by some trivial IP that the company pretends to own or be developing (used as an excuse to avoid full and timely disclosure IMO) and be concerned about competitors learning about.

The value in the company is their client base and position in the market as a longstanding and trusted supplier. Some other company would not just sell a meeting capability or cloud comms there are x-selling opportunities - having the relationships and leverage in specific markets allow lots of cross- selling opportunities- so maybe Loopup is very desirable to some entity.

The fact that Loopup are actively, even aggressively, seeking partnership opportunities and talked of developing other complimentary offerings (investing in development) i should resonate with and please all shareholders.

I have a recollection that during the IT bubble around the turn of the millennium the country's the biggest ISP ( Dixon or some high street chain) paying silly money of a bank of customers from another operator, absolutely huge for the time and in hindsight very silly - but illustrates that when there is a battle of market share anything goes and logic goes out of the window.

Maybe some of you have shares in SAGA, in their recent capital raise prospectus I recall reading that they buy customer books in their insurance division and sell policies at a loss (as most insurance companies do) simply to add customer volume.

Our customer book is valuable beyond what Loopup can wring out of it and to some companies much more than the current market cap - because a buyer will be convinced they can unlock latent value. Just like Loopup did with MeetingZone! lol

In the meantime, it is essential the company stays silent - can't have our IP or strategy details falling into the hands of Microsoft or Google or Amazon - I'm sure they are desperate to catch up with Loopup.
