Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
@TimeShifted Are you claiming that huge candle's bottom as a support level?
@mountainous Was this during a time of netflix and the internet being so prevalent? Of course not. Things have moved on I feel.
This is looking really bad. Probably speculation on more covid hysteria coming in the next few months, not the article in the DM. Also cost of living crisis means that people will be making spending cuts, and the cinema is an easy one to cut out.
You are in unknown territory here on the chart, its already fallen below all support levels. Good luck if you are holding!
The problem is people have gotten used to staying home. I live in a large apartment complex where my windows overlook the only entrance. There are around 400 apartments, so would estimate around 600 people living here, roughly. So I live in the unusual position of being able to see quite a lot of people coming and going.
I can tell you that people going out and doing stuff Saturdays and Sundays, has dropped a huge amount and never returned.
It used to be quite common seeing large groups leaving for a night out, drinking, night clubs etc. That has totally gone. Even people just going for a walk, or taking a bike out etc All about 80% down. What has increased a lot though is people getting parcels and food delivered. Both groceries and takeaways. People are staying home.
Now add to this, the huge cost of living rises in energy for instance, and the knowledge that most people live pay cheque to pay cheque. Cinema was already struggling to get bums on seats, the last time I went (2019) my local cinema has ripped out 2/3s of the seats and replaced them with big comfie reclining chairs. Think about what that is telling us. Finally the films are boring woke rubbish.
I know most of you don't listen to logic or reasoning, you didn't when I sold my CINE @ 87.06p 16th of June 2021 and I explained why. That's over 70% down since then, and I didn't even sell at the top.
I like old sayings too, like don't throw good money after bad.
Who knew OAPs took so many holidays to Russia? lol
At least when it went down for the covid overreaction is kinda made sense, as they were actually shut. But what does this war have to do with cinema? If WW3 starts we'll all die, so what does it matter if we hold or sell? Are cinema tickets going to be rationed? lol
To me it seems like any bad news will do to push a price a certain way and make money. It doesn't really matter if the company has nothing to do with that news whatsoever.
Virtue signalling with our money! Do they think they are our pathetic government?
I think its time to be cautious. There is no point rushing to catch this falling knife. Be calm, and wait to see what happens next. Look for other interesting opportunities. One Russian bank (SBER) is down an eye watering 72% today. Again, I'm going to wait and see what happens next, but that is a nice sale price.
They already spent the money on 2 years of covid hoax and other leftie vanity nonsense. No money left for real things like troops or weapons.
Arsenal "dropped to 89p" Wasn't the low actually in 2003? Weren't you actually sitting on a huge loss for some years? Yes eventually it went back up, but I dont want to be a bag holder personally. I wonder how much you'd have made if you just bought property in 2003.
I dont think I'd call July last year many many months. Hell it was a third of this only the year before. Lots of room to go down and test previous support levels.
@theKingMage Why? Once our young decide what gender they are and which pronouns they wish to use, I am sure they will be amazing fighters! lol
@SABY16 I don't have any short positions at all. And the Canadian news was someone else's.
I sold my CINE on 16th of June @ 87.06p Not the top, but was very happy to lock in that profit considering what has happened next proved me 100% right. I posted when I sold it too. I bet if I look back I have someone like you (maybe even you) telling me I was shorting and talking it down etc etc, its nonsense. Nobody comes on here trying to talk the price down, it just doesn't work, anymore than trying to talk it up. Try and look at the big picture guys, I've been saying this for months.
Well that's the confirmation we needed. We all know governments around the world implement measures at the same time.
Hope I'm wrong, I hate lockdowns.
@TheRiflemans Thanks. Its becoming clear that whatever you say here people don't believe it because they are like a cult or religion. I told you guys back in June that I felt that our government was anti business and i didn't feel confident holding significant sums in UK business, so I sold pretty much everything back to cash. I think I got 87p for this share. Was I right or was I wrong?
@Adam2003 "Johnny I'd stop now. You're digging a hole mate"
I don't post for the laugh, or because I think the tiny handful of people who read this forum can have any effect on a price. (That would be crazy)
If I do post its because I believe what i say, and I want to help people.
@matstar So I'm looking at their site, and the only film you can book is scream on the 14th, 15th, 16th. No other films, no other dates. That's not normal.
If it was one cinema, I would agree its a glitch in their system. But when there is nothing available this weekend in 3 different companies, that is by design. Just checked with Curzon, no tickets. Thats 4.
Spiderman: "This movie is not available on this date. Last screening is on the 6th of January."
Matrix: "This movie is not available on this date. Last screening is on the 6th of January."
This is from my local Odeon and just checked a random one in London and its the same.
With which cinema? Like I say Ive looked at Vue, Odeon and Cine and nothing past Thursday.
