Don’t we have one of the largest lithium deposits in Africa?! What the hell is happening with the price?
I get that our CEO is pretty incompetent and has decided that simply sitting on it is a good plan but surely this price is too good to be true?
Drax are holding a public consultation at the end of the month regarding the development of a carbon capture and storage facility.
Hopefully this goes through- could be excellent news for LTH.
IMO DYOR
Wouldn’t have thought so, not at £4 a share anyway.
Hopefully the market is expecting some good news regarding carbon capture?
While I think the loss has been blown out of proportion by the media, the results appear a little worse than expected.
Good opportunity to top up IMO
@itraderx3m
I believe it automatically closes when it goes below a certain percentage. I can’t fully remember but I think margin call is 50/60% but if funds fall below 40% then positions automatically close
Agreed. There certainly seems to be an element of insider rent seeking here. Communication of information is virtually non existent here!
Being patient with this one, huge potential.
Would be much better to have at least some communication though.
Perhaps part of the reason they are still on the AIM and not LSE
Have to disagree here Plonker.
The high street was dying BEFORE the pandemic and has since been exacerbated by it. The future is online with greatly reduced overheads. Unfortunately, the future is simply not with Boohoo. Too many underlying risks, poor governance and questionable strategic decision making (evidenced by the purchase of Debenhams).
@hirricane4,
I’ve just looked into my crystal ball (like most people on here) and this will be trading at £6 by the year end. Not!
I sometimes question whether people on here genuinely believe that this Debenhams deal is a game changer or whether they have been caught up in the media hype.
Either view is extremely myopic and, quite frankly, dangerous.
There is some merit in what Happyinvestor is saying. Boo have some fundamental issues that need to be ironed out before any long term gains here.
smorris, agreed.
The last thing we need here is a fire sale. I’d be more than happy to postpone the dividend for a few more years to e sure this doesn’t happen.
Long-termer here for sure, but I’m confident that this will come good.
GLA
Nasty drop here. Seems to be market wide.
Good opportunity to top up for me.
If they were offered nearly triple a few weeks ago, you have to question why 50m has been accepted now.
Merv, as evidently wiser posters have said in here- just wait for the RNS or you will risk embarrassing yourself.
Merv, not necessarily.
It is eminently dependant upon the contractual terms (which very few people know at this stage)
You’re only looking at one side of the story......
Debenhams was sold for 50m for a reason- they have gigantic liabilities that will need to be paid back.
I’m not saying this is a bad move by boo, but just that you need to look at the whole picture
I’m not looking for answers because, simply put, there are none.
For absolute clarity, I am neither a ramper or de-ramper, I just believe that some rational thought is needed here (particularly in light of those that are stating that KOD will reach £1 in the near future). While I sincerely hope this is true (I have a medium holding here), those that genuinely believe this have nothing to back this up.
I’m in here for the long run, be under no illusions that, contrary to the opinion of some, this is not “a guaranteed 10 bagger”.
Having said this, I do believe there is serious upside potential here (hence why I’m staying around), but when investing, one should be mindful of the risk involved.
For me, the potential here outweighs the risk and I am an advocate for KOD. I just think people need to be more rational when using largely outdated figures to justify their positions here.
Highly speculative but fortune favours the brave.
GLA.
They have forecasted profits of $220m post tax based on costs of $466/tonne and sale of $680/tonne based on their comprehensive research in late 2019/20. These figures were repeated in their August AGM. With this being irrefutably highly speculative, I wondered how anyone could simply rely on these figures. Particularly with the volatile nature of the last 12 months....
That was over a year ago......
Shaun- how do you know KODs drilling/extraction costs?
If not Tuesday, then Wednesday. But certainly next month. If not next month then it will be next year
Wolf- only because they don’t have as many shares
