BIRG announced a 35c interim div on 31 july resulting in a 95c div payout in 24-over 50% in excess of their largest annual div pay out historically. SP on 29 July 24 was 10.56. SP on 5 Aug 24 was 9.13 !

2.Capital appreciation , which buy backs generate subject to market gyrations. realised on sale of shares. If BIRG apply 9.6Bn next year to buy back you are left with c.60,000shares worth c 170,000 per share.

As you are fully aware I have frequently referred to your centurion and older status. This appears to have clearly upset you as you are now reducing yourself to the mental status of an 18 month old baby. As regards gold medals secured , Ireland secured 4 to the 14 secured by GB.Not a bad ratio considering the disparity in relative populations. Did you secure a gold in the FTSE Dog event? Cannot imagine anyone depriving you of the gold medal in that event.

Having frequently requested you to update your predictions on Boo - Birg - A/Line model to best perform to 31/3/25 - I suppose we can give up on those seeing your IQ has been reduced to the level of 18 month old baby.

1. Do you still consider BIRG a STRONG SELL , - you posted them a strong sell few months ago when BIRG SP was 8.12.

2. Do you consider the BOO a screaming buy at 28p ?

3. Do you believe RYANAIR being excessively generous in making distributions to s/holders exceeding 50% of market value of Easy Jet - a corollary to this is do you believe Easy Jet undervalued at £3.29Bn.

All very straightforward updates, with which even Sloopy must agree.

o/s shares in issue c.1,010,725,000 as at 15/8 with funds of c.70,225,000 remaining to complete buy back. Shares in issue on completion should be little under 1,004,000,000.

With AIB returning 2.2Bn to s/holders in 24, Ryanair returning 1.9Bn in 24 . and BIRG returning just 1.5Bn , will be surprised if BIRG don't return at least 1.3Bn in 25.

I see you are contradicting yourself yet again. How come you have dried up on the Boo for over 6 months. Are you having difficulties agreeing a Rights Issue price - do you recommend the Boo as a SCREAMING BUY at 28p or has your confidence fully evaporated.

Your negative correlation with the market again highlighted with BIRG. After your STRONG SELL recommendation aat their 8.10 SP they recover to 10.5 - stumbled recently to 9.35 but back again to 10.1 plus.Have a feeling they will enjoy a good run between now and New Year. Very confident that my 10.5/11 SP from last year ,which you often quote, will be well exceeded. ANOTHER winneryou have missed .

Can you not use your influence on your beloved mate , the Doomster, and get an update prediction on his 4 year favourite, the Boo. Seeing he regularly posted the Boo to be a screaming buy at 400p how come he has gone missing on their current 28p SP. Is he fully engaged in preparing the Boo BOD on the ins and out of RIGHTS ISSUES.

never posted WHEN Uncle Mikey would hit €25 but did post it to be a racing certainty they would hit €25. Are you of the opinion they will not. Hopefully you will confirm UM will not hit 25 as they certainly will in that case.No doubt they will be hitting 25 before Boo are even spitting at 60p

I suppose you will recall your posts crying out I had not the BOTTLE to buy at €20 !! Likewise with Kingspan.

See you are back to your favourite subject , Uncle Mikey's peak SP 7 years ago. At the mpment trading at €15 which means with a meagre 28% appreciation they hit their prior peak. Your 2 FAVOURITE AIRLINES - IAG trading at 165p and requiring GROWTH OF 275% to reach prior peak of 457p and EASY JET trading at 428p and requiring GROWTH OF 297% to reach prior peak of 1270p !!!!! To add insult to injury Rayanair announce they shall RETURN to shareholders this year a sum GREATER THAN 50% OF MARKET VALUE OF EASY JET !!! You must feel .............

Gone very quiet on the Boo boys - in good company as T4G/T4S/BFD etc has gone relatively quiet as well. Have the Boo BOD approached you yet for your wisdom on a possible Rights Issue. What is your April 25 SP prediction for Boo and will it differ very much from your April 23 prediction of 60p.

As alwaays look forward to your pearls of wisdom - although your silence continues to be deafening on when you expect IAG and EJ to reach their prior peak prices - 2030 possibly considered reasonable. Expect uncle Mikey to be back over €20 next summer.

Much more relevant to concentrate on the Financial sector and more relevant again to concentrate on what has occurred in the Irish market. Dividend yields are more relevant in the wider sector. The AIB divs as follows ; 12/04 = 20.9/38.5-12/05=23/42.3 - 12/06 =25.3/46.5-12/07=27.8/51.2.

Interesting that the ratio of interim to total across both BIRG and AIB is almost a constant 35% ,give or take 0.5%.

Applying this ratio to the 35c Nov 24 int div should result in final div of 65Ccin June 25 .

Following may be of interest in examining BIRG pre financial crash and today. BIRG's peak market cap was hit on 21/2/2007 with a value of €18.2Billion ( 955mill shares at €19.056 per share).Bank shares soaring on back of strong earnings growth. ;3/06 PBT = 1599mil ; 3/07 PBT = 1958mill representing peak PBT.

12/23 PBT = 1.9Bill ; 12/24 PBT possibly 2Bill (assuming impairment of 200mill); Mkt Value = €9.6Bn ; SP = €9.5 .

A final 24 div of 65c = div of €1 for f/y 24 ( 50% higher than pre crash) -probable PBT figure in excess of pre financial crash maximum PBT and a SP and Market value at 50% of pre financial crash. Appears market assuming earnings to deteriorate appreciably.
