Get rid of the negative waves - Ryanair reported a PBT figure of 2.07Billiion with tthe SP hitting 18.15 today. What do you/the Doomster think of Buy Backs of 1.5 Billion and dividends totalling over 500 million in a 12 month period.

What were the PBT figs for E Jet - B/Airways and its conglomerate - and what buy backs and Divs have they paid out recently ?? Oops forgot - they are into Rights Issues and not share buy backs.

An arguement for saying Ryanair have put most egg on the Doomster's face but I will give that accolade to the Boo.

Ryanair reports a PBT of 2.07 Bn in half year.

Having paid out final div of 17.8c in september now declare an interim div of 22.3c payable in february.

Completed 800mill buy back programme and now half way through additional 700mill buy back.

Certainly not bad for a BANKRUPT Airline.

I recall you recommending BIRG as a STRONG SELL when they were 8.12 some months ago and they recovered to 10.60 within 3 months, proving once again your negative relationship with the market.Don't worry about BIRG or Ryanair ( the a/line you predicted to be liquidated and now returning to their s/holders in a single year a sum greater than 50% of mkt value of your recommended model,E Jet ). You have gone very quiet on my average GGP price of 9.6p , a figure which will be in the rear view mirror next year.

Interesting times at the Boo and might take a punt when SP goes below 30p, as it has been good to me in the past on the 2 occassions I bought. My sole reservation is that you recommend them as a buy, seeing your negative correlation with the marker as the following proves ;

When putting anything in writing make sure you get your facts correctly. FYI the FACTS ARE AS FOLLOWS.

Interim div paid 16/1/2007 = 21c. Final div paid 21/7/2007 = 39.4c. Total 2007 div = 60.4c.

Interim Div paid 15/1/2008 = 24.2c. Final div paid 23/7/2008 =39.4c. Total 2008 div = 63.6c.

24 Final Div = 60c .

Examining the above you shall find that the 24 final dividend is 52.5% in EXCESS of both the 2007 and 2008 final dividends.

In 2023 and into 2024 you bored the ass of all posters cooing from your nest in the tree tops that the scissors was to be applied to interest rates in March 2024 with the scissors to be applied on 5 subsequent occasions through 2024. I believe it may have been in may that I posted that YOUR PREDICTION was gone for a burton, which it was as the scissors had NOT been applied in march 24.I never posted that the scissors application was gone for a burton. In fact my feeling of the scissors being applied in June was 50;50.

Likewise your badgering of GG when he was referring to PC and not referencing a cuckoo.

Looking through the front windscreen have you got the bottle to put your cuckoo brain above the parapet and let us know if you agree with BIRG that interest rates will fall by 1.5% in 2025. I don't believe such a fall will occur which means an ECB rate of 1.5%.

markets are a law of their own. Bit of a coincidence that SP today and 12 months ago almost identical. Put your interim div into BIRG at these prices.

Today's statement confirm's BIRG's intention for 2025 distribution to be combination of ord divs with a PROGRESSIVE div per share on earnings and a share BB with an objective to distribute to our CET guidance of >14%. Current CET is 15.6% (from 15.4% in 6/24) which could go out to 15.7% in Dec 2024 leaving plenty of scope for substantial BB announcement end of february. Would be surprised if BB not at least 625mill as Davy have predicted but could be more. Would also expect an increase in the final div to mid 60s at least with their progressive div comment.

Interesting that SP today is 8.49 while the SP on 31 October 2023 was 8.46 - dropping to 7.76 on 17/1 2024 before progressing to 10.74 on 7/5/24. So maybe plenty of time to buy back in before SP starts to increase.

Also interesting to note that statement reaffirms BIRG's impairment provision of 20 basis points which would result in impairment provision of c 160/165 mill for f/y assuming no change in coming 3 months. 2023 provision was 403mill so 2024 f/y figs would be almost 250mill ahead of 23 f/y and should ensure a PBT fig of 2bill plus, possibly 2.05/2.1 which would ensure 700mill allocation div -69c per share.

Statement expects eurozone rates to be 1.5% lower in 2025 from 2024. In 2023 eurozone rate was forecast to be 2.75% end of 2024 which will not be met. Hard to see euro rate dropping 1.5% in 2025.

just going by govt statement of intention to significantly reduce their AIB holding next year - appreciate they can sell in open market but feel AIB will allocate another million or guts of it towards bb.

Maybe BOD feel bb more beneficial to themselves than divs tax wise, assuming of course SP increases. Wonder what tomorrow's quarterly statement will bring to the stage.

Mkt Cap differentials between BIRG and AIB hard to understand. Using BIRG Mkt Cap as the base, AIB,s mkt cap is 41% greater than BIRG (BIRG= 8.64Bn AIB = 12.19Bn). Don't believe such a margin has existed historically. Is BIRG exposed to the motor commission "scandal" in the UK ? Recent court case went against some UK Bank which apparently is being appealed.

Announcement should be made at publication of f/y results end of february.With Govt stating their wish to substantially reduce their holding in AIB in 25 BIRG BB should be in region of 625/675mill.

Shares in issue on completion of bb programme total 1,003,409,101.

Delighted to advise you having got out of AIB at 5.21 and 5.31 ryanair holding currently 15k in the black and no doubt much more to follow - as with GGP. When do you see your favourite models- IAG/EJ - in the black again considering there are 250% off your recommended price levels - 2030 perhaps.

Any comments on the US DC closure ? Certainly no longer a " major boost" but certainly a "dead horse". "FWIWdo you see the break up achieving 500p". Certainly glad I didn't sell Ryanair and buy Boo as you strongly recommended on 15/6/22. Also assume Boo BOD didn't consult you on a possible Rights Issue- LOL,LOL.

FYI - GGP ,as junior partner to Newcreast Mining commenced exporation in Havieron some 5/6 yrs ago with Havieron now a proven Tier 1 mine with minimum reserves of 15 million ounces. During exploration GGP SP peaked at 37p which the Lassonde curve should make clear to even you. At that time GGP had no interest in Havieron other than it's 30%. At time of peak SP gold price stood at 1500 drs per ounce, Havieron 70% owned by Newcrest and Telfer mining operation to process Havieron discovery controlled by Newcrest. In last few months events have changed dramatically for GGP who now own Havieron 100%, control Telfer and gold price at 2700 drs per ounce. In addition 2 very substantial investors have taken large holdings in GGP, 1 of whom is the 2nd richest individual in Australia with assets of 33 Billion Aus dollars, whose sole objective is to bring Havieron into production in coming months. His only drawback is he has no Olympic gold medals !

I am 3p in the red in GGP at the moment without the slightest concern and looking forward immensely to coming 6/12 months. Should be exciting.

At that time GGP held 30%.During the exploration programme SP peaked at c 37p -Lassonde curve explains. Gold price at peak SP time was 1500 drs per ounce.Gold fine to be processed through large mining operation in Telfer -large production facility located not far from Havieron in which GGP had no interest. In last few months GGP have acquired 100% interest in Havieron, acquired control of Telfer producing facility and gold currently stands at 2700 drs per ounce. In last 12/15 months 2 very substantial investors - 1 being the 2nd richest australian with assets of 33 billion aus dollars - have invested in GGP with the sole objective of developing Havieron with production and M O Leary to cut losses expected to commence in coming months. Per Investor Relations bb totals 53,120,752 shares as of evening of 16October at w.a. cost of 9.7546 totalling 518,171,687 million. BIRG costs inclusive of fees and commission.

Shares in issue at outset of bb programme = 1,056,636,305 leaving s/h now in issue at 1,003,515,553 with just over 1.8million left in the kitty.

BB to be completed today. c.360k left in the kitty. shares in issue to be c.1,003,635 mill.
