A passenger alongside of the vehicle, Shawn Miladinovich, began taking video when he noticed that the driver was passed out, and that he had something "tied to the steering wheel" that the report assumes was used to trick Autopilot into thinking hands may have been on the wheel.
Miladinovich said: "I’d seen it on the news before, I just couldn’t believe I was actually seeing it."

My take on the ADAM CogTec interview.

He did not appear to have an in depth knowledge of the current market and the differences between SE/ A / SEE.
By placing them together he appeared to lack perspective.
By placing SEE along side SE and suggested to me that his understanding of SEE tech was lacking and on the light side.

The absence of real world DATA will take years to accumulate and he's playing catch up in a market place that's racing towards L5 and occupant State monitoring . I'm not sure he'll catch up with SEE or be able to show any demonstrable advantage if he does baring in mind The DR Mike comments on Cognitive state and also remembering that SEE will not stop innovating with commercial partners and the Human factors Data mind the gap will be huge.

I did not get any sense that he had any insight into that issue at all.

I was initially a little concerned for my investment by Alex Roy's excitement about ADAM CogTec thinking Unicorns etc but by the end I was wondering what does Alex Roy actually understand about SEE in 2019? His exuberance for Mr Cogtec tech left me scratching my head about why he was so excited and if I was missing something.

While we await news instead of repeating the same statements can you point to any one of the SEYE AB patents that refer to Lidar info and Driver Gaze alignment or Driver gaze and Object detection in the field of view?
