This is just one of the many valid reasons to implement in-cab monitoring. With more and more major contracts in future (particularly in high-hazard sectors such as fuel transportation) stipulating that in-cab monitoring systems must be present and must be reported on.

Method for furnishing a warning signal, and method for generating a pre-microsleep pattern for detection of an impending microsleep event for a vehicle
The solution presented herein relates to a method for providing a warning signal (105) to identify a slumber that will be faced, the method being used for a doze early recognition device (100) of a vehicle (110). The method includes at least one of the steps of reading in at least one behavioral pattern representative of a driver's behavior during travel with the vehicle. Moreover, the method includes the steps of comparing the behavioral pattern to at least one stored pre-sleeping mode that represents personalized, that has occurred before the driver slumbers Or the behavior that is happening. Finally, the method comprises the step of outputting the warning signal (105) when there is a predetermined relationship between the behavior pattern and the pre-sleep mode.

In this context, in accordance with the present invention, a method for providing a warning signal to identify the slumber to be faced and a method for generating a pre-deep sleep mode to identify the slumber to be faced are described in accordance with the present invention. Two methods for a vehicle; and a method for warning by means of a warning signal; a doze early recognition device, said doze early recognition device using said method for providing a warning signal; and a generating device, said The generating device uses the method for generating a pre-sleep mode; and the doze early recognition device system, the doze early recognition device system uses the two methods; and finally there is a corresponding computer program. Advantageous improvements and improvements of the method and apparatus according to the present invention are possible by the measures recited in the preferred embodiments and other embodiments.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPERATOR SKILL MITIGATION
The systems and methods described herein disclose regulation of vehicle access based on operator proficiency. The systems and methods for regulating vehicle access by an operator include determining, using driving capacity information, a driving capacity metric for an operator in a vehicle. A vehicle system of the vehicle can then be evaluated for a vehicle system proficiency. The driving capacity metric and the vehicle system proficiency can then be compared. Then, using the comparison, a proficiency level of the operator can be determined for the at least one vehicle system. Finally, access to the at least one vehicle system can be provided to the operator based on the proficiency level.

The present invention relates to a device and a method for analysing the real-time eye-gaze of a subject observing a three-dimensional scene from an aircraft ****pit. Joyson Safety Systems was recognized for its collaboration with General Motors on the launch of the DAS. Key technology for the Cadillac CT6 Super Cruise system, the intent of the DAS is to train the driver to pay attention to the road in order to safely take control of the vehicle if needed, namely by determining 1) the driver´s visual attention state, 2) the driver’s control state by sensing both hand touch and grip on the steering wheel, and 3) communicating with the driver safely through a light bar incorporated in the steering wheel.
