Bahamas Petroleum (gotta laugh at the name as they never filled one barrel) and Challenger Energy like to dangle the farm out carrot to PIs. It's been a very successful device for them for a number of years, ensuring that the payroll keeps running and PIs get poorer.

Good luck to anyone else willing to fund their lifestyles - a track record of utter failure and screwing over investors does not make for a good investment case in my book.

Here’s the thing: plenty of stocks go to zero due to poor management, corporate greed and the small matter of the underlying business being dysfunctional. Sound familiar.
