Dick I’ve seen your type on almost every AIM share.. you’re over confidence is dangerous IMO and you fail to properly consider the risks even when it defies logic. Look at HBR yesterday… the North Sea is not a good proposition right now irrespective of all the tax / loss write offs it’s fundamentally now messed up from making decent money on oil extracted and sold. Hard they see where they go from here. Market isn't buying/interested in their Uruguay carrot and only so many assets can be sold off as cash continues to be burnt on salaries. Etyan has "committed" to a farm out within 12 months but we all know a fund raise needs to happen ahead of that and this BODs stated objectives aren't worth the paper/airtime taken.

So much excitement is being whipped up by Etyan and all the twitter pumpers - three trades today lol.

Yeah not long now JS for yet another JOG rollercoaster big dip. They’ve spun a good marketing story and dangled the carrot well keeping everyone in the BOD well compensated. If not by the end of December then certainly within the 12 weeks after. Almost as good as the infamous Verbier “surprised and disappointed” RNS.

JS, it’s already been pointed out that the RNS then goes on to say that this was a statement made at the time based on current understanding and caveated such that any claims of misleading investors could be explained away.

Either way you look at it you are being duplicitous in your postings; so you either never held all these years of promoting the company while the SP crashed but miraculously bought in at the very bottom in November 22 -‘d have enjoyed your 100% increase (good luck getting the bid price for the sale) or, in making your point, you’re failing to account for the massive losses on your previous holdings in CEG/BPC brought at much higher levels.

Incedros can you point me to an example of where shareholder value has been created (and for which 5 other cretins seem to agree) by the CEG BODs?

Fair play to you Madmaxium. At least you didn’t attempt to walk past that point of detail. What you’ve observed here is the latest example of CEG BODs stating a clear intention to do one thing then not delivering on it whilst quietly moving on.

They are clearly selling off assets to shore up funds not secured through increased production instead. All to keep those salaries being paid.

Uruguay is just a marketing tool for this company - a Bahamas reboot. Funnily enough the farm out dream never materialised there either and then they moved on.

I’ve got no doubt the assets have value but the point I’m making is that the strategy is clearly to get cash in the door and keep salaries paid rather than any pretence of delivering shareholder value.

My guess is they’ve been unable to get a raise away and hence why we have the fire sale dressed up as as a strategy. First time they’ve certainly communicated this to shareholders.
