Spike if the SP goes down it means there are more sellers than buyers and if it goes up it means there are more buyers than sellers. Supply and demand for stock is what drives the market and the SP accordingly but often there is a lot of nonsense on these boards designed to confuse the uninitiated or perhaps even make themselves feel better...

Worrying to see this BB visited by the usual speculators these types of plays attract but the BODs misstep has created unneeded volatility and short-term traders which is frustrating

It's quiet incredible that they pull out this sort of nonsense to be honest. Just focus on the job at hand - the lack of any timescales or ambition in today's RNS is the biggest dampener of sentiment.

Couldn't agree more. BOD haven't done themselves any favours though and look quite naive in some of their actions and previous assertions on the debt repayments. They should feel uncomfortable and "do better" in my opinion.

Be interesting to see what happens today… someone clearly not confident or getting out ahead of the next corporate announcement…
