I haven't been in this for years but I still see the RNS alerts, and without any emotional attachment, it's clear to see what a scam is being run here. One, the sole purpose of which, its to extract money from retail investors and fund the AP's and the BODs lifestyle as well as the various lending houses who cream off the debt profits - the entire thing is a ponzi scheme!

As soon as I saw the diamond "progress" RNS last week I just knew that the rinse and repeat was underway and yet another, of the countless raises was afoot. I mean how many bits of confetti are possible to produce?!?!

What's fascinating, however, is how many people fall for it time and again and then expect a different outcome - it's the definition of madness and AP must laugh his socks off - what a way to make a living!

If you'd bothered to read anything other than the deadline you'd quickly discover this is old news:

Calm yourself, and as mentioned don't expect anything to move the SP after the 20 day mark.

The answers to your questions are that in the short term keeping the lights on i.e. the money that would come from Chevron (if everything proceeds as stated) to fund P1 activities and plough more money into loss-making trinidad is already priced in.

OFF 3 farm out is a big if and no majors bid for this when it was openly offered (and this was after all the renewed "excitement" in the area). But Etyan would also like to use the funds above to prove it up a bit more.

All of the above is already factored into the SP in my opinion with very few catalysts for anything significant rises and lots of risks - I doubt CEG/Chevron will be the first to drill in the area which, if unsuccessful, would quickly knock all the "excitement".

Long terms, as others such as GG has stated it's a big gamble on finding oil with lots of hurdles to come in between.

In summary; high risk with very little chance of reward for punters/gamblers except those on these boards who like to drive short-term spikes by creating narratives about "milestones". Indeed the CEO himself loves to write tales and is most adept at revising history of previous failed strategies.

Luthee, I’m genuinely keen to understand why you believe Malcy to have any credibility? His “hot stocks” nearly always turn out to be damp squibs and he’s happy to promote a donkey as long as the money is right.

Don't expect much to happen here between now and any drilling, if it ever happens. All the "good" news would appear to be priced in along with a healthy dose of scepticism.

Totally agree with the sentiment of your post GG - and so does the market.

For the record, I never said on here that Urgaguay approval wouldn't come through but tempering the "foregone conclusion" brigade. There's on ly one reason why the pumpers love to create the idea of a runaway money train and it isn't for long term investment.

However, the BOD need to start shouting about that themselves, and paying for marketing beyond the quarterly RNS' that mainly reaches existing investors. There's only so much that can be achieved by a resident bulletin board cheerleader ;)

Give over with the debate on the treasury shares guys it's immaterial... ultimately this share has way too many retail gamblers and the usual sell on news brigade who are off to chase the next rainbow.

Time for the BOD to get its finger out on Abra and promote what they are doing - going through the motions each quarter on a debt repayment plan was the old playbook and only really served a small group of individuals.

This dog should be put out of his misery... hard to imagine who would put their hard-earned cash into this basket case. I'd rather take my chances swimming with crocodiles!
