Just educated guesses really.
Seems strikes in December hit our oil production and volume is tiny and interest here non existent atm.
A year ago or so it suddenly jumped to 1.2p for no apparent reason. Can happen on aim.
Since then debts well down and revenues increased. Seems we have some turbulence, but some positive news and sentiment could see a re rate....just imo.
Personally, I am happy to take a modest gamble at these prices......aim is littered with dogs with no revenue....I do not think Echo is that. Share price wise, yes, is terrible, but this is where potential big gains can be made on aim.
Of course, no guarantees and don’t risk too much would be my advice FWIW.
My head is not in the sand, I see the share price, and I also see the market cap!
I would rather buy when no one else is interested. Each to his own.
If this falls again Monday morning, and I think it will, the share price will be at around a 6th of the price that millions of pounds worth of debt was swapped for. That would represent an outstanding deal on those shares......millions of debt wiped away
Tbh I am really not bothered if the price falls another 50% in the short term. I am gong to regularly top up at low prices as I believe there is a pretty reasonable chance this will come good. I think we will be in pennies at some point when production increases and maybe Campo Limte comes good ( spelt that wrong ) .....one of those rare opportunities that I’m willing to take a bit of a gamble on whilst this company is so unloved. As you said, you can get a lot of shares for your money.
Maid, totally agree. Aim is always risky, but when you have a company going in the direction and a product very much in demand, commanding high prices, and a churn keeping the price at an all time low despite growing revenues and reduced debt, then there is perhaps a golden opportunity. There are no certs, but when I invest in aim I do not expect them.
Ranger, is different imo. This money should be used to speed up production, not be blown on Christmas presents, and I believe it will be. Ultimately I think even MH and the operators want this to succeed!
There is no downside to this. Can be used to increase revenues more quickly at no extra cost.
Yes, we do need to show tangible evidence of more oil wells coming into production now........totally agree.
The cash is there now, Need make hay now, the time for just talking about it is over.
Scarlet, doesn’t matter what Doc says. He used to sometimes get things right, but don’t we all? We have a very valuable asset in Mako that dwarfed our market cap, it is mainly just time now. We have some reasonable revenues from our Italian portfolio ( hopefully a positive update from there soon ).....and IF.....those ****stan rumours have some truth.....well, we are very cheap
I think from this we can see this is not going bust as some would like here.
Slow and steady, but solid progress now. Revenues rising, debt reducing.
It is clear from this share price that Echo is still unloved and under the radar. Like some others I will accumulate at these prices....I feel that $1m free advance is not yet appreciated by some. That is interest free and right now, just what we need to bring more oil wells on line.
I believe that Mako can put us in the pence rather than the fractions of a pence.....at some point. Would like to see us sell out for a good price, otherwise a bit of a wait.
If ****stan proves to be more than just a rumour however, we could suddenly find the share price surging imo.
Renewables do not interest me.
Good to have the solid foundations of the Italian gas production.
A sell there could be wise too as gas prices are lowering 8n Europe atm, but that could change. Lots of ifs and buts, but I think we are undervalued and could come into favour out of the blue
This showed how precarious the situation was here. MH has slowly given us a more solid footing and clearing that debt at .45p at this level seems an amazing deal now. Our debt is coming down, our revenues rising, plus we also have a potential gas discovery over the horizon. At this price I feel we are very under valued. May take a while for the market to realise though. Happy to wait
