Yes I look at the prices everyday - but this is a long term winner. Furthermore, the prices only matters if you're buying / selling.

I have a core holding and further trading tranches have been added to it - because for me it's not worth the hassle of trying to time this. We were about 1250p in Jan 21, we have been taken down excessively hard since then. Mary, raises CV in Mexico and that is a valid point. But Juanacpio is the game changer.

Indeed, this should be in the 1300p region - I'm still looking for 1500p plus

I totally agree, and that's why there is no point in trying to rationalise drops - it's about production and PM prices for the long term hold.

If small time PIs like us expected this news then so did the shorts. POO is about $69 and even with today's news TLW is about 54p. So if there is a slump in POO (for whatever reason) and with our current production the SP would be hit hard, and that's what 'they' are hoping for.

I think we will see a small increase - as it's expected - but it is good news for us long term holders.

Re-rates are to be expected and a basically priced in - the markets move on unexpected news. good or bad.

'Tullow Oil estimates that Kenya’s Turkana fields hold 560 million barrels of oil and expects them to produce up to 100,000 barrels per day from 2022.

Kenya intends to transport 80,000 barrels a day, up from the 2,000 barrels a day currently being transported by road from Turkana to Mombasa'.
