I don't doubt that you mean well, but I am not sure that you realise just how shackled we are with regard to increasing our SP. I have been in this game too long to look through rose tinted glasses so I prefer to be realistic. You and others may not like what I have posted but it's been fairly accurate.

With regard to Brent since last Friday, TLW has not benefitted from the rise. A leaky ship.....

Poo has been fairly steady and TLW SP has retraced, so this news may have leaked before the RNS.

Production has also fallen due to OPEC cuts, and if an oil producer isn't flying when poo is in the 90s then when will it's SP fly.

I doubt that it's shorters closing. After our last RNS our upside is limited for the time being and poo is due a pullback.

What do you think is going on ?

Shorters are having a minimal impact.

Who on here said the BP share price was going to fly when they announced their results.....

The hedging that saved the company when poo tanked was arranged prior to the pandemic. Following this TLW had few options and the lenders would have had a big say in future hedging. I agree with those who say the company was saved in order for the debt to be repaid.

Oil is used to make over 6000 different items, so in time their prices will rise. And our hedging leaves us somewhat vulnerable to inflation.
