They are extremely risk averse on small caps now [who can blame them] so they don't want to hold much stock, hence why bidding for 750k over the bid for WSG is significant - usually way lower than the bid- but feel free to enlighten me how supply and demand has been removed - I'm interested.

What yesterdays post did show is that the the main stakeholders were in a rush and hence all these teething problems appear.
Smiths getting the order 3 weeks before the opening sort of shows the level of organisation. That's probably why we got the loi - everything too rushed and as WSG are in SL - lets get them - everyone else too short notice.
