Trek, my choice of words shouldn't concern you, i'm only putting into writing my thoughts in a way that doesn't make it sound like i'm saying things will definitely happen and that they are my opinions and that would be in keeping with the rules of this board. Would it have read better to you if i'd have used 'believe'? I obviously can't use absolute terms like 'know' because the truth is i don't.
I'm confident in the opinions i expressed earlier in this thread and as i have posted before, it seems impossible to have gone drilling in Q1 2020 without a farm-in partner. We had so much left to do in such little time the drill couldn't have gone ahead without someone else looking after these aspects. If people believe we weren't going drilling then they must believe the company were lying and therefore this would be no place for your money. I have bought more in recent weeks because i really do believe we're in for a pleasant surprise, and a well deserved one at that.
I can't disagree i think they were happy to miss their stop on the gravy train and stayed on a bit longer. I understand the challenges they have faced but i still believe plans could have been enacted earlier, maybe with the benefit of hindsight they may admit this themselves? The buying and constant spinning of CERP does dent any perceived integrity i must admit and it's all too easy to see the bigger reason for buying CERP which will never be spoken about or pumped by the company and its toe-curling embarrassing watching people talk about it like the Emperors New Clothes. CERP does have a purpose though but that is not and never will be a needle mover for us PI's. It ensures for things like the company to still exist on a poor outcome on P#1 and all the things that allows for.
P.S. I'm certainly no high roller although i was looking to leave a few million in for drill results this might end up being pretty much the full amount as the downward pressure from mass selling on the SP is going to be truly enormous. Unless that is people see much of a life after P#1, and no i don't mean Cerpes, i'm talking P#2 with a major. A commitment for a second well, be that a P#2 or an agreement from a major to cover the appraisal well(s) will put a lot of people in a top-slicing spin.
