0.8p holding strong as a support level - 6 recent sell trades of over 1,000,000 shares have all held at 0.8 or just above.
Buys all holding at 0.83 and above. Time to retry that buy limit at 0.81p (yesterday's one at 0.8 never got filled).

Interesting the number of posters on here who would prefer share buybacks rather than a return of cash. Opposite of many posters on shell forum who think massive share buybacks have had little impact on share price and would have preferred the money returned as cash.
My view is that cash back to shareholders in whatever form benefits individual shareholders more than buybacks which suit Boards better as company metrics improve.
Obviously different views across BoDs and shareholders on the merits of both approaches. Guess Shell also trying to “hide” profits to avoid windfall tax discussions.

Difficult to time a buy or see a pattern this morning - ranging between 0.9 and 0.82 over last 2 hours.
It seems that lots of people think something, but not the same thing and not at the same time.
Set a buy limit and go and do some gardening I think.

Switch to thread view and look for Witholding tax or WHT threads - they crop up every quarter. Or, ask your broker as many do it differently. Think most regulars here fed up with WHT threads.

Whatever the financial case for building Prelude the returns on investment must now be well above anything expected. A very fortuitous decision.

Although there is some credence in charting, especially trend lines, to say that is a head and shoulders is a bit of a stretch. Head and shoulders of a deformed troll perhaps.
As others have said, charts have value for more stable shares in FTSE etc. In the wilds of AIM there’s no way they can predict the tiny news items that send prices up and down. You may well have called a dropping price but that was a fifty fifty call. Mystic Meg was right half the time.

Reading recent releases from many “green” companies, it seems Energy Security” now more important than net zero.
VLS’ Chairman’s summary puts energy security first. Hope Govt funding matches its new focus on energy security.

Some good comment on previous posts, I think a couple more are:
- the fund raise by selling new shares a couple of years ago. Undercut the price of existing shares, annoyed a lot of holders whose holdings were then diluted and the SP dropped. Hopefully DEC won't do this again now they have good funding in place but it did cause investors to question whether shareholders were given much thought.
- the fact SP seems to have a very hard resistance level at 130 and a pretty strong one at 120 so I think a lot of auto sells are set at these levels. Resistance levels seem to become a self fulfilling prophecy.
But as has been said numerous times, if you act on resistance and support levels and like the dividend then I think DEC's a good investment.

Unfortunately Wood have several more pressing matters in hand.

Announced but not completed or priced sale of one of their major divisions.
A massively suppressed share price
BoD under massive pressure to complete sale, reduce debt and give the shareholders something - else it's looking like P45 time at next AGM.
EQT JV probably doesn't make their top 100 priorities this year - Wood need to focus on things that make profits now.

Missed 0.95 yesterday and missed 0.936 earlier but did manage a top up at 0.949 this afternoon.
Lots of buys since 1455 ish, including some biggies.

It was helpful, it told you where the information was.
If you can’t be bothered doing your own research then perhaps investing isn’t for you.

Not withstanding all my previous comments (and to help cheer Aandi up) I've set a buy order at 0.95p to top up.
There have been a few buys at that price today so fingers crossed.
Spread on HL now down to about 2% so given that and the reduction in SP over last few days I think risk is priced in sufficiently for me.

I was just thinking the same. If you’d bought in on yesterday’s 2% fall and sold on today’s 4% rise that’s a nice day’s work. More profitable than dividends.

Running a company is all about cash flow!
They underestimated the £16M raise and are now back for more with no certainty over income streams and how / when loan will be repaid. Trying to expand before you stabilise is a common problem for start ups. Hope they’re paying their finance guys more than the scientists.

That’s what hedging is all about.

Bad News - I don't understand why - unless it's taken investors 24 hours to read / understand results.
More Bad News - contradicts my recent posts on boring and stable.

Warthog. If the value of the shares stays stable and you have 25% cash then you’re breaking even. If the share price rises we’re up and if it falls we’re down.
Think where the SP is at risk is now as potential investors may sit on their hands until after consolidation to see what happens. So, think we’re losing out now with less buying activity than may have been the case in more stable times.
Benefits unlikely to be in the short term but increased yield hopefully leads to increased SP in the longer term. Fingers crossed (my new investment strategy).
