My thoughts.
1. We own 30% of Havieron come what may.
2. We have a LROR on the 70% ownership of Havieron.
3. Whomever they are of the 6 or 7 that Palmer has stated, 'there was strong interest in the Telfer gold mine' that, must surely include GGP one could reasonably assume.ie' “We had a high level of interest through the first phase and we’ve taken six or seven organisations into second phase. That’s progressing very well and there is good interest,” he said etc.
4. It is also thought, though not proved as such until advised, that Newmont will wish to divest both Telfer/Havieron as a single package.
5. Who would buy Telfer without Havieron, ask yourself that given known liabilities for Telfer etc?
6.Who would bid on Havieron knowing full well that GGP have the right at the end of the day to match any offer and secure the 70% share of Havieron?
7. So, in conclusion I am personally anticipating that GGP will win any deal be it with an existing strategic partner(s) who want exposure to both Gold & Copper.
8. Yes at this point in time Copper is the new Gold, and I have said so months ago for obvious reasons. As long as Haverion has plenty of copper and we still don't know how much potential it has???? then IMHO there is a very good chance indeed that GGP will end up with either 100% or at the very least part owners of both Havieron / Telfer.
9. So just relax, bide your time and let SD and the BOD's work it all out.
