I have tried to give the question of dividends some serious thought, because at the end of the day, many older LTH's like myself would like to know 'What is really plausible?'

OK, so far we have seen statements from SD such as GGP will recoup their costs of acquisition once the keys are handed over to be within 18 months, ie continued Telfer production?

If that were to tun out be correct, then all fine and Dandy and that would bring us to say 01/05/2026

And this is based soly upon Telfer production only, is it not?.

So what will be the date upon which Havieron ore is being processed via Telfer?.....that I am as now, totally unsure off.

So for me, many hurdles as yet require to be overcome, plus many liabilities yet to be paid off and cancelled.

I'll take a wild guess because that's all I can do, ...do not expect a dividend until at least 2028?

I read but can't recall where exectly, maybe Investor Chronicle?...... that many directors across the board be they FTSE or AIM are selling off some of their holdings, in order to beat the anticipated increase in CGT that Labours Rachel Reeve, is anticipated to bring in with her October budget. This to me whilst not welcome for retail investors seems to me to be the most plausible reason.

Greatland has also been informed by Newmont that it restarted Telfer processing operations and recommenced the deposition of tailings into TSF8 on 23 September 2024. Accordingly, whilst the conditions precedents have not as yet been satisfied in full, significant progress has been made towards their satisfaction.'

That's how I read it for now.

Newmont has agreed (subject to certain exceptions) to only run one of the two Telfer

processing trains from the processing restart until Acquisition Completion, therefore reducing

the usual processing rate to approximately 0.925Mt per month (of the total 21.9Mt of

inventory in the Telfer Initial Mine Plan). During this period, Newmont has an ongoing

obligation to continue mining operations which is expected to exceed the rate of processing.

In exchange for this concession which preserves the 15-month Telfer Initial Mine Plan, the

Company has agreed to pay certain purchase price adjustments to Newmont, described in

paragraph 2 of Part 2 (Summary of the Terms of the Acquisition) of this document.'
