Kong,
Re: 'GS20 linkedln page is taking about Bitcoin halving in 3 days
Can anyone shed any light on this, and what it means ? '
OK my simple economic analysis:
If the supply of BTC goes down as in the case of reducing the supply by 50%, what would you naturally expect the price of BTC to do if the DEMAND for BTC remains the same? Obviously the price of BTC should at the very least Double?
Anyway, as far as GST is concerned it don't really matter if you stop and think about it. Why?
Simply because GST get their revenue from commission fees O.02% of the transaction value be it a Buy or Sell of BTC. So, if volumes of BTC transactions is reduced but at twice the price, nothing really changes.
The only potential downside might be that should volumes of BTC reduce substantially??? then will the price of BTC falls in order to make a market for BTC, that's the only question I can think of, and that in turn will affect GST.

Good article on the AIM market by Charles Archer no less.
An Unregulated mess!
'Or in other words: is the market now unregulated? Trust in the RNS system, nominated advisors, and research is at an all-time low. And while there are plenty of investors prepared to take the high risks on offer in the small cap space in return for potentially lucrative rewards, they are not prepared to invest when there is no punishment for companies breaking the rules.'

@Pension Investor
RNS is to do with Spreadex buying shares, ie Financial Spread Betting. They currently hold 5.23% of OBD shares outstanding, ie 16.3m shares
How does spread betting work?

Oh the irony abounds here with the GGP brown nosing attack dog, :O)
Perfect example as below.
'Hi Ntl - if you’re talking about the sells showing on this LSE Board, half the time you can’t verify that what they show as sells aren’t actually buys and in any event under fundamentals there still shows more buys than sells so your post this morning is hugely inaccurate and borders on scaremongering which I don’t associate you with?'
Hope to see less of your condescsending/brown nosing posts on here from now on, agreed?
Agreed Saint, you just can't rely on your broker acting in your best interests, fact is if the SP is plumeting you stand no chance even though theoretically your broker is obliged to transact.
Many brokers will often have a get out clause or excuse for not transacting at your stop loss price.
Better to set up a price or volume change message to yourself, and then act accordingly in my own experience, assuming of course you can log in quickly enough to trade etc

Tinners,
Get your head into this document, will answer some of your own questions.
And don't forget Telfer is only worth a dollar without Havieron.

The best bit Doris :
'On Oct. 30, 2023, the U.K. government said it would aim to introduce more crypto-specific regulation during 2024 and see the regulation of fiat-backed stablecoins brought under the purview of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).'
FIAT backed stablecoins!!!!, that's GST, that's you and me, if your'e invested that is.
Oh, and just to add Doris, you were the one as I recall, that often stated this will take 3 years.
Well guess what 2021 plus 3 = ? .
My forecast for a shift in gear is July 24, based upon the 6 month month window re UK staking-six-months-report
My forecast ergo, FWIW re Pathway is July 24 after having read this.

Yes I may be wrong, but overall do not think It will be too far out.
Good Luck Doris!
Novice,
Re: 'This is never going to achieve full FCA status '
Not sure I agree quite honestly, Why on Earth not?
Just look at the goals set out in the original prospectus !
https://www.gstechnologies.co.uk/post/placing-to-raise-1-4m-publication-of-prospectus
Compare and contrast the achievements made to date against that prospectus put forward in SEPT 21.
I'll leave you to do your own research on that ( Look through all the relevant acquisition RNS's since Sept 21) pretty easy really, and then just look at all the current ongoing activities of buying and bought FCA approved companies etc.
We've done pretty well all in all, and for me personally the last hurdle ie Innovative Pathway should be well achievable.
Don't forget Doris, if we already own FCA approved organisations/companies the likelihood of owning more is even greater along with the revenues that they will attract.
Think big and remember Rome wasn't built in a day!
@Woody,
Your question re HVNWI's cast your mind and research back to April 2023. For all we know Noel may still be hodling his 51M shares? We haven't seen an RNS since that time as I strongly suspect he is below the reporting threshold given further issues since Apr23.
Thing is there are I am sure others out there with similar below reportable thresholds just simply biding their time and waiting for GST to put the put the jigsaw together?
Anyway, good luck to you!

Culpepper,
I do find it somewhat difficult to follow your postings simply because you never say exactly to whom you are responding to?
Why not try and use the more conventional approach now and again, ie @ Fred Boggs followed by your response, makes life so much easier Eh?
Just to add.
Then and only then, if we achieve success in those 3 hurdles given the current trajectory of the POG over the next 2 years , I think we all stand a very good chance of seeing a real re-rate of the SP, and the shorters will most likely throw the towel in.
When we all know what's happening with the current spinning GGP plates act.
In no particular order, but would be my order.
1. Resolution of LCA timewise and the restart off Decline construction once again.
2. Purchase or joint ownership or even partial ownership? of NEM's 70% ownership of Havieron.
3. Purchase of Telfer?
