RE: AGM5 May 2023 10:42
Hi Vc, I have seen this happen a few times where negative sentiment drives a share down to the floor. I am prepared to accept that global inflation has affected RG's failure to secure a new RBL arrangement, & I am prepared to accept that you cannot plan & legislate for a particularly bad Winter. What i cannot accept is AM's attitude towards the hand that feed him ie shareholders. He has demonstrated a particular lack of people skills, to the extent that he now refuses to correspond & answer e mails, preferring to duck shove the resposibility to CH. The arrogance is mindblowing & dismissive. TBH, he couldn't even get my name right. Nevertheless, he did provide me with a few golden nuggets, which I am holding on to.
The best way to move forward is to look at the facts & what we know via RNS announcements. We have Atomic, we have Cuda, we have increasing production & we have the FD 1B barrel discovery ratified by RS. We also know that a "large oil company" approached us eight months ago, and that this potential JV has reached a commercial horse trade. Reassuringly, we also know that we no longer in financial dire straits.
Given all of the above, this is purely a waiting game. I was in 88E in March 2021, when the SP went from 0.29p to 4p in THREE WEEKS purely driven by Twitter sentiment & frenzied buying. I am getting the sme feeling here, although the difference is that we have something tangible & FD could be humungous. I am not here to coerse other investors to put their "hard earned" in. I am here to make money, which sadly ATM is not happening.
I will wait for as long as it takes, however I get the feeling that something substantial will come out of the AGM on the 30th. It's just a real shame that investors have been shabbily treated by the one man that should be inspiring COPL's success.
Good luck!
