Hi Artemi5 - why are you waiting for a "Mountie" in a satin dressing gown?, or is that a stupid question? Do you get a lot of Canadian horse loving police in Norfolk?
Joking aside, I do admire your continuing & endless positivity. Personally, I am now starting to have doubts, especially with the "Consolidation" issue.
Hi Vc, I have seen this happen a few times where negative sentiment drives a share down to the floor. I am prepared to accept that global inflation has affected RG's failure to secure a new RBL arrangement, & I am prepared to accept that you cannot plan & legislate for a particularly bad Winter. What i cannot accept is AM's attitude towards the hand that feed him ie shareholders. He has demonstrated a particular lack of people skills, to the extent that he now refuses to correspond & answer e mails, preferring to duck shove the resposibility to CH. The arrogance is mindblowing & dismissive. TBH, he couldn't even get my name right. Nevertheless, he did provide me with a few golden nuggets, which I am holding on to.
The best way to move forward is to look at the facts & what we know via RNS announcements. We have Atomic, we have Cuda, we have increasing production & we have the FD 1B barrel discovery ratified by RS. We also know that a "large oil company" approached us eight months ago, and that this potential JV has reached a commercial horse trade. Reassuringly, we also know that we no longer in financial dire straits.
Given all of the above, this is purely a waiting game. I was in 88E in March 2021, when the SP went from 0.29p to 4p in THREE WEEKS purely driven by Twitter sentiment & frenzied buying. I am getting the sme feeling here, although the difference is that we have something tangible & FD could be humungous. I am not here to coerse other investors to put their "hard earned" in. I am here to make money, which sadly ATM is not happening.
I will wait for as long as it takes, however I get the feeling that something substantial will come out of the AGM on the 30th. It's just a real shame that investors have been shabbily treated by the one man that should be inspiring COPL's success.
Good luck!
Out in force - there's a surprise!
From a regulatory point of view, I cannot see how AM would be allowed to lie about the JV. "Commercial terms being discussed", is the end of the negotiation road IMHO. We just need to see that RNS with the name of the "large oil company" on it. I can understand an RBL delay, as we have experienced global inflation over the last twelve moths or so.
That one piece of JV news rerates the SP - simples!
I too will probably vote against both resolutions unless AM comes up with some news beforehand. I can see from the voting info, that there is a planned Presentation. Perhaps that should be released to shareholders in the next few days.
Have we actually received an RNS giving notification of AGM on 30th May? I have only seen the detail in my voting pack from HL.
The consensus here apears to be "wait & see" regarding a vote against - I cannot fathom a move to consolidate shares again, & the name change is a surprise. Can anyone hazard an educated guess as to why AM wants to do that?
CO2 EOR is a type of tertiary oil recovery that can recover even more oil from these existing wells and reservoirs. In CO2 EOR, carbon dioxide is pumped into the oil-bearing rock formation to recover even more oil.

biglads - I understand your frustration, however this is the stock market! You pay your money & you take your chance. My average is over 20p, so I am as underwater as many on here. Patience is the key, if you know that the fundamentals are sound. We have the resource ratified by an IRR & we have existing production which can only increase.
