wwal - i was in 88E for five years, & there were many rollercoaster rides. The key thing is NOT to fall in love with a share, & have an exit plan that you are happy with. I finally made a 50K profit, but lost potential returns of 300Kie I didn't sell twice & lost 100K each time & then I sold too early and lost another 100K.

FWIW, my exit price for COPL is two pounds.

* CUDA purchased for 20M Dollars
* Increased 85-100% WI
*RS Report - stated to be published by 5th August BIG NUMBERS!!!
*RBL refinancing by end of Q3
* THREE horizontal wells in Q4 -TWO @ FD & ONE @ Cole Creek

I will leave you to attach value to these events - good luck with that!

CUDA was purchased for around twenty million dollars - what a steal!

Yesterday's RNS put to bed any concerns that I had, & this is why the SP will rerate:
Earlier this year, COPL commissioned Ryder Scott to conduct a Canadian NI 51-101 compliant resource assessment of the major discovery the Company announced to the market in January 2022 its assessment of an estimated total reservoir volume of 1.5-1.9 billion barrels of Oil in Place ("OIP"), of which 1.2-1.6 billion barrels of OIP underlays COPL lands. The Company expects Ryder Scott to confirm these findings when it publishes the report next week.

Let HB DJH Gold et al do their thing, as it does not make the slightest difference to the future of COPL.

That will change very quickly Weathergeek - RS Report next week & AM is saying that the numbers are big. We have CUDA, we will soon have RBL, the SG season will be over & in Q4 we will have a Canadian rig drilling several horizontal wells on FD.

I will stick my neck out now - 25p B4 IRR & anybodys guess afterwards.

COPL is paying US$19.15mln of cash consideration for the acquisition, along with assuming liabilities estimated to be around US$1.6mln.

Tiburn - a Canadian rig is lined up. RBL funding will be in place, the Sage Grouse Season will be over, we will have all of the steel tubulars we need & RS will have confirmed the Resource.

You have to ask yourself "what has changed?" - the answer is CUDA is closing today & we have a new finance deal which is better than the bridging loan taken out in April. In Q3, we will have new RBL funding and looking forward to two FD horizontal drills.

WTI is $95 & we are waiting for RS to ratify a new billion barrel light oil discovery.

Look past all of the short term shenanigans & disruptors on here - believe in the fundamentals.
