Graham Paul posted at 12.09 on Friday to say it was at 1%, that was the first I noticed of the level changing. Depends on when it is actually closed/ closing.

Saying about punishing them, they bought in at various points, part of which was at something like 23p, closed from 1.2 to 1 under 18p. Not sure of their average but the price would have to explode to have a loss on their remaining short having made LOADS previousy on Pantheon. Having had baals of steel to watch the price go to something like 37p previously, they are now closing, so there is an important decision there. eg the people who held for 2 years now are closing.

Wait until the US wakes up/ this will go crazy at 2pm.

Then there are the 'its in auction posts'

Also the price predictions 'will be seeing 52p by Wednesday afternoon'.

Hard to predict today. We have seen the initial rush to 10% up, a drop back to 7%up, probably a reorganisation and something will happen. The max for these days is usually 16% to 20% which we havnt seen yet. Also this isnt like the other rallies with short closing and the drill imminent.

I wonder if the move by Mangrove was something they were always going to do before closing this short. They have held over a long time and this is great to see a move. Something really of substance.

Why have you not managed to reply over many many paragraphs?

Could bond holder be shorting against the shares they own? Could the bond holders be gaining shares as they will at one stage in the future be worth more than the interest? These questions and more will be answered in a new 8 part mini docu series, comin soon on ITV7.

Are you referring to further closing of the Mangrove short or that more short positions are opening?

There is quite often unsubstantiated chat about 'Mangrove closing now' or that they will soon be burning when until the October 1st change, nothing had happened.

We seem to have been at a low point with the share price, below the placing. With 'news' becoming closer.

Has the Mangrove 2nd short really been placed? Did they really bet that the price is going down from 15.86? There have been many times at which (understatement) to make such a move.

Has this been misregistered, slightly closing their position from 1.53 to 1.22%

I know what we can see is reported but does anybody believe it?

Who registers this and can it be verified?

Looks pretty normal. 16.45 end of day?

Or will an imaginary line on a graph be broken byfairly random buys and sells?

Always an interesting day when the bought and sold value vs number of shares for those sales is odd.

I think a lot of people are thinking in the wrong way about this share.

At this stage, an oil exploration company have plans and the money to drill. It is not happening yet. While we wait, nobody really trades very much. I am typing 1 hour into trading with £15000 only being traded, only 11 trades. Its low volume.

Although the share price moves about and there are higher and lower volume days, there isnt much changing. So people get bored and move to other investments which they think might make money sooner.

This, no doubt means it is at a bargain price. At some point, it will become nearer a time when a result will come in and people will buy the shares. Then the result will come in to aid the value.

In about 2028, two things will probably happen. One is that this company will be extracting oil and will validate a value and the other is the cost of extracting oil will push the oil value much higher. This second factor joins with the first to put a higher value on the oil being extracted, a data field you cant fill in as it is in the future.

Vehicles are only a small reason we need oil, the demand is high. To create a wind turbine you need.. oil.

Anyway, you are here in the pre waiting stage and face only really one question- When?

Citadel had a short which closed / reduced in size so much that it is no longer registered, so its not now the source of reduction. Pantheon and many other AIM shares just drop down when nothing is happening, then go bezerk when stuff is happening.

There is a poster on here, who usually actually says something credible but very much puts the doom and gloom on when the share price falls. Almost without fail, the next thing that happens is the share price rises, I wouldnt be too surprised if its the CEO's drunken father, saying his son would never amount to much but actually just about to buy loads of shares, its that reliable. The share price will continue to drop slowly until proper news comes in.

None of what I have said is investment advice and nobody is drunk. However, buy now*, set a reminder for 60 days time and see if we are in the mid 20's share price.

Only now showing 1 short, the Citadel one has gone.

Previously, Citadel shorted this at 19p? and sold at 16.something.

This time, they seem to have started in the 17s. I suppose they are hoping for no news ... until there is news in September.

This is quite strange as around the time they placed thier short, it could only be placed one day worse from their stand point. Also worthy of note is that they were in and out pretty quickly before.

Starting so low, they risk being in a position that will not be as low again and getting burnt by this. After the placing at 17p, that area seems a strong base for the excitement to build up to one of those typical 20% days followed by the usual drop. Megrez could be the end of this being cheap.

The wiser Mangrove was in at around 23p (correct me if I am wrong), which can bail and make money before this new action gets going. Both of these exits will help the share price.

That may be a bit of a conspiracy. Today sold value 351k sold, bought value 167k. Share price drops a bit. No surprises.

However, regarding Mangrove, the future advances upon us and to keep the short, Pantheon would need to fail on this next part of the project. They are currently in a winning position which is likely to close before it goes the wrong way up. Funding is here after that placing.

There is also a longer game here regarding oil. We use it for so many things and it is harder and therefore more expensive to come across. One study suggests that around 2028 it will become quite an issue, this is part of the reason the British Government are working on Solar and Wind power so hard. The oil will still be in high demand. I would love to see what is going on in 4 years time and how 18p feels per share!

Not sure but hopefully your post is as powerful as yesterdays "14p (in freefall)" post which was most welcome.

Statistically, you must be the most powerful force for these shares, regardless of the accuracy of the content. We did get our dilution and 35p is a lot more than 16p. The problem seems to be your lack of posting in between. Welcome back.

Just replying to myself, it looks like that happened with the closing short. It does usually make some sense.

I seem to have a misunderstanding today as on the share trades which are shown on the share price page of this site, it currently says:

# Trades 531

Vol. Sold 7,122,129

Sold Value £1.26m

Vol. Bought 2,691,426

Bought Value £1.32m

You can see the bought value as higher than sold. The volume sold is a lot more.

Could somebody explain this?
