They increased the short on 11th Sept 2023. 1.53

They decreased it 1st Oct 2024 having changed it to a different fund name. 1.22

23rd October 2024 decreased to 1.10

24th October decreased to 1

Just fascinates me, the buys vs sold amount stated on the share price page. I made a note on the 20th (the day before it kicked off last time) the buys were ahead 582 vs 290. Lets hope history repeats itself tomorrow.

Great time to buy, I have been buying again today.

We are just about to get the first set of flow rates. If they are good, then the share price will go up pretty sharply, so the current 45-50p area is our baseline, you can either choose to buy expecting a big return or sell, should you think it would not go well. If you look at the bonuses set out a month or so ago, they are in the high 60s, I think all along, they knew this Megrez would be a good thing. This is the last chance to buy in before flow test results... whenever that is.

Lots of buys today. 2.2 million bought vs 1.6 sold.

We were on a steady trajectory upwards, yesterdays news created what in hindsight may have been a bit much, now we are in a correction stage. Last year this happened a few times, hitting increases of 20+% then the next day people are still selling the rise. So I dont think we will go as low as it was before.

Since being at 38-40p there has been positive news on the oil front.

Coming soon is news of flow fro the oil.

Behind that positive news is a wave of activity on the gas side of the business.

The short could have been taken on Monday as the information is for Tuesday. Tuesday the share price was near its annual high, so in a numbers game it might go down. The short already taken, the following day the share price went up but more than 20%.

The way out they have is if they can sell at the lowest point before the next news having made such poor timing. At least it is 8% below the Wednesday high but will not make it back into the 30s.

Currently the buys are double the sells.. but just losing a bit currently.

The last week has seen fairly even bought and sold, today there were a lot of sales as I can understand mathematically being near a recent high rather than on what is going on.

9 Months ago nothing was really happening, now it is a double hit with Trump coming in next week. Of course, having made many percentage points, a lot were going to leave. Being where we are, it would be illogical to think we cant make 50p, but having had a gain, people will sell.

Its his last week, so I dount it will change reality. I think a lot of the propaganda around oil such as banning new things doesnt change the demand. The demand is often linked to transport while the usage is very widespread. Therefore is oil required? Yes, then a sensible source in your own territory is wise.

Googling crude oil demand per year shows that excepting 2020, oil demand has steadily increased. Million barrels per day 2005=85, 2015 94, 2023=102 (101.89).

No sign of this really slowing.

So I cant see this standing, Trump will be in soon and will do what he wants.

The ease of sourcing it is reducing, it still exists just harder to get hold of.

A: Feb 1st 32p- this is before results start coming in from testing.

B: 40p

C: This is after some reults are in, so I think the short will have closed and we should be released. I noticed that bonuses were set out around the high 60s (I think). I am going to be saying we will hit this bonus and it all kicks off 73p

D: I cant see the short lasting through January, we head ever closer to the oil production of 2028 when we have an oil ease of getting out of the ground problem which co incides with this company producing oil. Add in the gas as a bonus, so I cant see it staying under 50p with all that will go on this year. We were almost at 40p last year, so I think its fairly safe to say 50p.

7% is a bit drop when shares are being bought.

At the time you posted, the sells were equal to buys, so not due to people actually selling the share. Will probably return shortly. 4% off!

This Mangrove commentary and speculation keeps going. I think there is a post every few days yet no change since 24th October. Maybe its just the shares still being mopped up from the recent deal, looking at the low volumes that seems more likely.

5 times as many buys as sells but its low volume at the moment. So amongst the people who are trading, you can see what they think.

2 months ago (17p*) I said we would be in the mid 20s, so it needs to pick up today or a post nobody has remembered will make me look inaccurate.

As long as I dont mention it I should be ok.

*17p was the price at the time, not a date. 27% return so far, should anybody have bought at that level!

Very interesting that we have a good share price, high volumes and the short didnt seem to be closing as expected. Maybe an update will reveal some action not currently declared.

The great news is that the closing of it will be helpful, so we havn't yet had that help.
