That's kind of my point Howezap, there shouldn't be a "both ways" where one gets a go on the teat whilst the others wait their turn.
There are seperate entities, seperate companies, they should be run independently regardless of how well or badly another of the chairman's companies is doing. It's simply wrong and it lends itself to unfair practices.
Imagine this, Bird was offered a project and he then mulls over which of his companies will be "awarded " the project by him, His motives could be the company who has the most cash, the company that hasn't had a raise for a while, even the company that would fold and lose him a salary that gets the project in order to keep the doors open and keep the salary active.. All supposition and not what I think has actually happened but it makes it a possibilty.
It's just messy and not good business practice regardless of the legality of it.
Of course we lapped up the BR hype, but if it was at the expense of his other companies that would have been wrong.
