Pooling knowledge maybe but not pooling resources as in lending or giving funds or using and wearing out machinery bought and paid for by the company who has money. Also drawing a salary for one company while at the same time concentrating attention on another.

If XTR are propping up other companies I think we should have financial recompense in the form of shares, farm-in or a percentage of future profit. Any other way is questionable.

Can anyone who thinks that's OK please buy a Ferrari and lend it to me free gratis as I can't afford one until my XTR shares recover. I'm sure your "shareholders" ( wife, husband, significant other) won't mind you spending it on someone they have no connection to.

If you check Companies house, Extract Resources have no subsidiaries( apart from a dormant one, XTRACT INTERNATIONAL LIMITED) nor is it one.

It is also not part of a group so there shouldn't be any "group level" resource sharing, what's ours is ours, lending substantial funds to other companies without the SH knowledge is beyond the accepted norms.

"Group level" in your scenario doesn't and shouldn't include XTR, who as it happens are the only ones with any money.

That's kind of my point Howezap, there shouldn't be a "both ways" where one gets a go on the teat whilst the others wait their turn.

There are seperate entities, seperate companies, they should be run independently regardless of how well or badly another of the chairman's companies is doing. It's simply wrong and it lends itself to unfair practices.

Imagine this, Bird was offered a project and he then mulls over which of his companies will be "awarded " the project by him, His motives could be the company who has the most cash, the company that hasn't had a raise for a while, even the company that would fold and lose him a salary that gets the project in order to keep the doors open and keep the salary active.. All supposition and not what I think has actually happened but it makes it a possibilty.

It's just messy and not good business practice regardless of the legality of it.

Of course we lapped up the BR hype, but if it was at the expense of his other companies that would have been wrong.

If Bird actually is ‘actively’ holding back any spotlight on Xtract now, so the media and market focus is almost entirely on BZT then I think that is absolutely scandalous !

These companies are supposed to be seperate entities and should not have their affairs influenced by one of the others at all.

That one sentence demostrates the reason why we need a CEO to run this company at the appropriate speed, not "mothballed" because the Chairman is busy elsewhere. Whilst continuing to take a full salaryfrom XTR I may add.

If one of the main supporters of all things Birds thinks that this is the case, it's damning, it really is.

Yes rather disappointing but not entirely surprising. As I said on Friday, without constant positive RNS,traders are bound to jump ship when it stops rising. We will be here around the 17-19p mark until the next catalyst.

We are still over 13% over 5 days. If we gain at least that every time we get a positive RNS I won't be complaining too much.

He's off chasing other rainbows to keep the balls in the air there, he doesn't need to do that here, after all we have an income that covers his.

He can let this stew until such time we stop getting our drip fed the moneywe are owed then he will do one of two things I think.

Either he'll ramp the shyte out of it and have a chain of placings or he'll call it a day and retire with a golden handshake equivelent to whatever is left in the bank at the time.

Frankly I wouldn't be surprised for him to do anything less.
