I can't agree with that Mr Zap, his age is a fact and it's been pointed out for a reason.If age wasn't a factor in all aspects of life it wouldn't be taken into consideration in things like licences to operated machinery, cars, aircraft etc.

I have to agree, I've said for a while he needs to at least delegate his wishes to someone who will carry them out in good time, it would be the most cost effective way for all of us.

My father who is 88 used to get very annoyed when we suggested he give up driving, it took two collisions with a car and a traffic calming post to make him realise, his licence was revoked on medical grounds eventually.
